Sail Away

Sailing away is what I’d rather do than go back to work tomorrow, my 2 weeks leave has gone way to fast and I’m not ready to adult yet!

I found a little bit of time to get my craft on this morning while the rest of the house was still asleep.

I went to my challenge blog list for inspiration and found 4 that I wanted to play with and that the 1 card would suit:

I have been playing with my alcohol inks a lot lately and had a blue piece that was perfect for these challenges. I used a Stampin Up die that looks like waves and a sentiment from a set by Simon Says Stamp called ‘Sailing’. I used just a few of the leftover wave pieces which I adhered to a stitched die rectangle panel.

I can really feel the water in those waves. I love how this card turned out. Thanks for looking and have a great day.

  1. CAS perfection Tristan! I keep forgetting to use my alcohol inks so maybe on our next crafty day I will remember! These colours are quickly becoming my new fave! Thanks for joining us at Less is More.
