3 for 3

Hello and welcome to my 3 for 3 post, where I’ve made 3 cards for 3 challenges.

First up is my card for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #145 – Z is for Zaphod Beeblebrox! We could make a card incorporating space, galaxy, aliens, spaceships etc.

I created a galaxy background panel and stamped a unicorn image from Visible Images and a sentiment from the Ink Road ‘Zero fucks’ that I think is perfect for this card.

I have a work colleague who will be getting this card, as I showed her the stamp set when it arrived and all I have to do is say to her ‘unicorn’ and she cracks up!

My next card is for the Library Challenge #43 – Secret Garden.

I used a stamp from Catherine Pooler Designs ‘Climbing flowers’ with my Kaleidacolour ‘Vineyard’ ink pad smooshed onto some water colour paper. I fussy cut out parts of the background and mounted it onto a black card base with a sentiment from the Ton.

As you can see, I was inspired by the colours and floral images on the book cover.

My third card is for CAS Mix Up – October – Foiling.

I created an alcohol pearl background panel with some gold Deco foil. I then die cut the Paper Roses ‘Leafy circle’ from a card front and mounted it over the AI panel with a sentiment from the Ton.

I love how serene this card looks.

Well, that’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by and looking.

LOVE the ai smooshed panel with the gold foil. Amazing! And so pretty as a circle with the leafy white die-cuts. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!

  3. I love the foil on your alcohol ink background, Tristan! I’ve never managed to get that much coverage. I need to keep trying, I guess. The die cut is perfect for showing off the foil and a perfect sentiment! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up!

  4. Love all your cards. What a beautiful effect you’ve created on the flowers, and quite unusual too- they really standout against the black. Thanks for joining The Library.
