Playing with Colour Challenges

Today I had to make some thank-you cards anddecided to be inspired by some colour challenges. I also decided to keep the designs the same using a new stamp from MFT called ‘Radiating Halftone’ clear embossed and the sponged in a single colour gradient. I used some pre-coloured critters from my stash and sentiments from the Ton.

First is a card for Shopping our Stash #428.

This card is for a work colleague who went above and beyond to get a task completed despite many obstacles.

Next is a card for TGIF Challenges #280.

This card is for my hubby for all the work he’s been doing around the house lately getting ready for Spring.

Next is a card for Daring Card Makers and Fab Fridays #196.

This card is for another work colleague who worked tirelessly to get a n e-learning module deployed.

Lastly is a card for CAS Colours & Sketches #386.

This card is for a third work colleague who moed all sorts of blockers to help get a project completed.

Well that’s it for today. I now need to write the insides of these cards and get them into the mail. Thanks for stopping by for a look. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  1. Isn’t amazing how a change of colour can make a difference. Love the way you have done the main design and made each one so special with different colours and images. Great work Tristan.

  2. You really outdid yourself with the challenges. Love how similar designs take on their own look in different colors schemes. Thanks so much for adding CC&S to your list. We appreciate you playing with us!

  3. Great set of cards! I love the embossed and sponged background…very cool look. I especially love the giraffe for our challenge colors. It’s a perfect image and lovely coloring. Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!

  4. Great job! The pattern used in the background is great, perfect for representing the mostly hectic situations everyone seemed to be overcoming – not sure if yard work is relaxing or hectic for your awesome hubby. Its always so fun to see how 1 layout can look so different with a simple re-orientation. Thanks so much for joining us this week at CC&S.
