Hi there – it’s Australia Day here and we’ve expecting a hot one, so trying to keep my cool I decided to play with a couple of winter based challenges.
The challenges I’m playing along with are:
I kept it pretty simple and decided to create a ‘sweater’ for Santa! I used an embossing folder from Stampin Up to create the sweater using some Real Red card stock and then made the belt, buttons and buckle out of some scrap pieces in my stash. I added a little bit of Wink of Stella to the belt for additional sparkle and mounted it all on a white card base and I was done!

After making my card, all I could think about was how hot I’d be if I put it on today so my original thought of keeping myself cool failed!
Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Hi Tristan, what a wonderful card! This outfit might make you hot but here it’s been snowing a blizzard all day. A nice, warm, cable-knit sweater would be very welcome, indeed. I love the clean lines and bright colours. With a few well thought-out pieces you’ve made a perfect sweater for Santa. Well done! And happy Australia Day as well. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
