Fusion: Autumn Leaves

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I was inspired by the colour scheme for my card. I used Stampin Up inks in Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry on the ‘Rays of Light’ stamp on a panel of SOft Sky cardstock. I added a silhouette snowboarder and sentiment from Avery Elle ‘Dude’ and added it to a black cardbase.

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or fuse them together and play with both! Just Add Ink #623 – Just Add Colour Combo

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour combo for you!

I often struggle with colour combos and decided to go with some sponging on a white panel which I then cut with a floral cover die from Paper Roses and added a sentiment from Uniquely Creative.

Love how simple this was to make, yet how pretty it came out!

End of long weekend crafting

It’s been quite some time since I’ve been able to craft without any interruptions and play along with a few challenges.

We’ve had an extra long weekend here in Melbourne and with Miss K away camping with her botfriend, I’ve been able to play in my craft room guilt free!

I’ve made 4 cards for 4 challenges.

First up is a card for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers 218 – K is for Kraft and this might be the first time my card has not been snarky!

I used a kraft card base and stamped the Altenew ‘Sketched Evergreen’ tree in White, then Old Olive and then Mossy Meadow ink. I found the white ink helped the 2 greens pop off the Kraft cardstock. I then did some offset stamping for the sentiment.

Next up is a card for Less is More 474 – Friendship.

I used a stamp set I got in a craft magazine called ‘Best friends’ that I coloured with my Stampin Blends.

My third card is for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge 180. I chose the 3rd vertical options of flowers, circle and berries

I decided to make a Christmas ornament with the Stampin Up ‘Mistletoe Magic’ stamp set and matching dies. I then added a couple of die cut tiny poinsettias along with some ribbon to hang it on the tree.

My final card is for the Global Design Project 361 – Color Combo.

I used the Pink Fresh ‘Floral Focus’ stamp set and matching stencils for my card along with a sentiment from Uniquely Creative.

Will that’s it for today. Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Fusion: Pinwheels

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

How cool is this inspiration photo? I love the look of these pinwheels and was going to make a series for my card but decided doing so many little tiny folds was beyond my fat fingers! I opted to create many circles using different size punches from different DSPs in the colours of the photo and adding my sentiment in the centre.

You could make a feminine version of this card by changing up the colours.

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or fuse them together and play with both! Just Add Ink #619 – Just Add Masculine

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I’ve been making quite a few masculine cards lately, seems I have lots of male birthday and events in the second half of the year! I decided to make a fancy fold card, following the instructions from Nikki Spencer. I used the Stampin Up suite of produts ‘He’s All That’ and some stamps and dies from ‘Geared up Garage’.
