Sketch Saturday #718 – Opt twist celebrate love

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

How versitle is this sketch? No need to be restricted by the shapes, you can make them whatever you want – like I did using heart dies. I did rotate my card to be verticle rather than horizontal – my go to card base!

Come join in the fun; we’d love to see how you were inspired. Check out the projects that the other artists at Sketch Saturday have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Friday, 10th Feruary (AEST) Australian Eastern Standard Time to link up your project.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

AAA Cards #232 – White on White

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

I had a bit of a play with a variety of dies for this challenge before I landed on the Stampin Up butterfly along with a sentiment from Uniquely Creative. I popped up one side of the butterfly to provide some dimension.

Just Add Ink #636 – Blog Hop – Just Add Your Favourite

Hello there, it’s a new year and that means it’s time for a blog hop at Just Add Ink and do we have a great theme for you – Just Add Your Favourite! What does that mean? It could be your favourite colours, stamps, dies, technique or style – the sky’s your limit!

I used a couple of my favourites – alcohol inks, rainbows and heat embossing!

I created a rainbow background using my AIs, then gold heat embossed my sentiment from Stampin Up ‘Slim Sayings’ on a die cut vellum panel.

Sketch Saturday #717 – Opt twist use a new stamp

Hello there, it’s a new calendar year and I have some great news for you – I’m joining the amazing design team over at Sketch Saturday. Who doesn’t love a card sketch to get those creative juices flowing? This fortnight we have another awesome sketch for you.

I decided to flip the sketch on it’s side and play along with the optional theme to use a new stamp. For my card, I used Stampin Up products ‘True Beauty’ (new stamp), ‘Big in Birthdays’ inked up in Richrazzleberry, Berry Burst and Granny Apple Green on Bright White cardstock.

Playing with the Global Design Project 376 – CASE the designer

I love a challenge that provides inspiration that I get to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) and the GDP never disappoints with providing that inspiration.

How pretty is this card by Connie? I was inspired by the textured background, the colour scheme and the die cut flowers.

I switched up the pop colour in Connie’s card from mint to pink. I used a lattice die for my background from Stampin Up ‘True Beauty’. I then stamped and die cut a few flowers from that same set in Altenew Grey Denim and Pink Pearl. The sentiment in Connie’s card looks like it’s 2-tone so I did the same with a stamp set from Stampin Up ‘Biggest Wishes’ in Altenew Cloudy Night and Memento Black.

I’m so happy with how this card turned out. Thanks for stopping by for a look.

AAA Cards #231 – Moodboard – all the bears

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

I love all the different types of bears in the moodboard and knew I had the perfect stamp set for this challenge. I used the bear from the Colorado Craft Company ‘Happy Day’ stamp set which I coloured with my Stampin Blends.

AAA Birthday #45 – Anything Birthday Goes

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

I made a birthday card for my daughter’s boyfriend. He’s turning 16 at the end of the month and loves basketball. I used a variety of digital basketball silhouettes from Etsy by Manelheaven on a fancy fold card base (following this tutorial) with a sentiment I made on my PC.
