AAA Cards #316 – 1 + 1 challenge

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

For my 1 + 1, I chose Summer and Sun. For me that meant summer/sun colours so I went to my cardstock scrap stash for all the yellows and oranges that I feel make up a sunshine colour scheme. I layed them onto my cardbase in a radiating outwards pattern, both up and down and then added a sentiment cerated on my laptop with some yeloow and white twine and my card was done.

AAA Birthday #86 – For Boys

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

I love making masculine cards, but I probably don’t make them often as I do love to colour flowers and probably send more cards to women than men.

I used a great stamp set from Stampin Up ‘Brewed for You’ where I stamped 5 of the beer mugs with their foamy top and then die cut them out. I used SU inks in So Saffron and Mango Melody for the beer and bubbles. I added a bit of puffy paint to make the beer foam top and then added some die cut letters to form the HAPPY sentiment. I’m pretty happy with how this card came out.

AAA Cards #313 – Colour challenge

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

To create the plaid panel, I cut the four colours of the challenge (Timid Tiger, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink and Pretty in Pink) into 1/2cm strips and then die cut it with a Stampin Up plaid die. I popped up one of the birds from the Stampin Up ‘Soaring Swallows’ stamped in Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.

I love this card of Jane’s with the bold panel and simple sentiment. I used some fabris washi tape from 49 & Market ‘Alena’ and then die cut my sentiment. Super simple and I can see myself creating more in this style.

I had a large sized washi tape from 49 & Market ‘Botanical’ which I used to created my background panel. I then staped and loosing water coloured a perfume bottle from The Ton ‘Marveous Perfumes’ and a woman from Tim Holtz ‘Runway’ stamp sets. I like how graphic this card looks like.

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!
