Fusion: Cloth Bunnies

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

For my card, I was inspired by the sketch which I flipped and the bunnies in the photo. I used a stamp set from Close to my Heart ‘Easter Bunny’ and I sponged a sun with Altenew inks behind my little bunny and added a sentiment from MFT ‘Anything but Basic Encouragement’.

I love this sweet little guy.

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or fuse them together and play with both! AAA Cards #211 – ATG CAS + Spring Animals

Hello there, it’s time for another AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

I just love bunnies, so knew my card had to have one on it. I used the bunny from Stampin Up’s ‘Easter Friends’ stamp set, which I coloured with my Stampin Blends. I added a punched flower for spring and left the sentiment off, so that I could use the card for any reason.

Fusion: Bookshelf

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I was inspired by the sketch (which I flipped horizontally) and the books in the photo and new the Stampin Up ‘In the moment’ stamp set would be perfect for this challenge. I stamped the girl reading a book in bed and then coloured her with my Stampin Blends. Popped her up on some ribbon and hemp strapping. I opted for no sentiment so that I could pick and choose who and why I might send it in the future.

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or fuse them together and play with both! Just Add Ink #595 – Wreath

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great challenge for you!

I love the colour scheme of the photo and the combinatio of the leaves in that cicle shape. I decided to use the colours, the curves and foliage for my card. I used the January My Monthyl Hero Kit from Hero Arts for my card. I love layering stamps as it give such great detail and i was able to align the stmps so easily with my Stamperatus.

3 for 3

Seems like a very long time since I’ve been able to make some cards for challenges that I’m not on a Design Team for or been busy playing netball uber driver for my daughter – LOL!

Today I’ve made 3 cards for 3 challenges. First up is a card for Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #205 – V is for Vibrant.

I created an ink smooshed background with 3 of my Hero Arts Neon ink pads (neon pink, neon red and neon organge). I then stamped an image from Bee Arty ‘Limited Edition’ and a sentiment from MFT ‘Anything but Basic Encouragement’.

My second card is for Addicted to CAS #215- Feline.

I have quite a lot of cat stamps, so had a bit of a hard time making up my mind as to which one to use for this challenge. I eventually went with Stampers Anonymous ‘Mister Meow Meow’. I coloured him with my Stampin Blends and added a bit of crystal lacquer to his monocle.

My last card is for the Sisterhood of Crafters – Old Rejected Stamps.

Again this was another hard choice as I have quite a few old stamps that I haven’t used for quite sometime but cannot bring myself to get rid of them. For this card I used two old Stampin Up stamps ‘Medallion’ and ‘en Francais’. I white heat embossed the medallion stamp and then sponged it with Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist ink. Then I added some Island Indigo ink randomly on the text stamp and added it to the coloured panel.

I love how this has come out, so will be using this pair of stamps again.

Well, that’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by for a look. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Fusion: Turquoise Rose

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I love the look of those roses in the inspiration photo and knew I had to replicate them. I used the main flower from the Simon Says Stamp ‘Beautiful Flowers’ stamp set, clear embossed and coloured with my Zigs. I added a bit of black and white striped DSP behind the fussy cut and popped up flower to mimic the sketch.
