Fusion: Laugh Decor

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I decided to fuse the sketch with the photo, I loved the flowers on the desk and the colours. I used a new Stampin Up set called ‘Hand Penned’. I stamped the largest floral image and coloured them with my Stampin Blends in Pink Pirouette and Miny Macaron. I then die cut it out and popped it up on some circels over a scored card base.

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or fuse them together and play with both! Check out the projects that the other artists at Fusion have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Wednesday, 9th June at 7pm Melbourne Time or Tuesday 8th June 12pm US Pacific Time to link up your project.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Sunday Funday

Hard to believe we’re almost at the end of May; I’ve been so busy at work and ferrying Miss K around to all her netball games and tournaments that it feels like an age since I’ve been able to have some proper dedicated time to get crafty.

First up is a card for:

I masked off a few panels to sponge the 3 colours from JAI and added a flower from Simon Says Stamp ‘Delicate Flowers’ – I love this stamp set as it’s so versatile and can be coloured or left as an outline only, as I did here.

Next is a card for:

I flipped the sketch on it’s side and added some DSP from the SU ‘Fine Art Floral’ pack and stamped a few of the flowers from the SU ‘Art Gellery’ set; then fussy cut them out and slightly poked my bouquet behind the scallop edged panel. The sentiment is from the SU ‘Big on Birthdays’ set.

My last card is for:

I used an image from ‘Elliot & Marcel – Hugs & Feeling Blue’ by Purple Onion Stamps which I coloured with my Stampin Blends and added a sentiment from Taylored Expressions ‘Simple Strips – Snarky’ – I always tell my Dad that he’s a bit of a dork!

Well, that’s it for today; I’d better do a few chores to get ready for the week. Thanks for stopping by for a look and enjoy the remainder of your weekend.

Fusion: Thank You

Check out the projects that the other artists at Fusion have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. Christmas Craft Creations – May – Tags or ATC

Well, this month we have another challenge over at Christmas Craft Creations challenge blog to create tags or an ATC project.

I printed the ‘Christmas Ornaments’ digi stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller, coloured them with my Stampin Blends then seperated them into 3 tags.

Come join in our fun and add to your Christmas card stash. Visit the challenge blog to check out the inspiration the other CCCettes have made. Link up your card by 3am 8th June (Melbourne time) or 6pm (UK time).

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

1 Card 5 Challenges!

Well it’s Mother’s Day here in Melbourne and I ask for some time to get crafty before we went to my MIL’s for lunch.

I have a new stamp set from Colorado Craft Company ‘Snuggles’ that I’ve been wanting to use and was lucky enough to find a number of challenges that I thought the adorable mummy and baby rabbit would fit.

I coloured the mummy and baby rabbit with my Spectrum Noir tri-colour markers and then fussy cut them out. I popped them up on a die cut panel and then added my ribbon behind in a zig zag way (which I love to do as it doesn’t involve tying bows which I’m terrible at!) and I then added them all to a Crumb Cake card base. This sentiment certainly expresses how I’ve always felt about my daughter, Miss K.

Well, thanks for stopping by for a look. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Check out the projects that the other artists at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. 1 card for 4 Challenges!

I was up early today as I couldn’t sleep so thought I’d get a bit of crafting in before I have to take Miss K to her netball tournament today.

First is a card for:

I love how blending 3 colours actuall ends up giving you 6! I used Stampin Up inks in Costal Cabana, Megenta Madness and Bumbleebee along with some True Love DSP fussy cut out. I love spring, all the flowers coming out and trees getting their leaves back – not too hot but the sun is out.

Thanks for stopping by for a look and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Tower Block Card

Seems I’m having lots of fun these days making fancy fold type cards and today’s card is no different. I saw a YouTube video from Mixed Up Craft and just knew I had to give it a go; it’s not too hard once you understand the mechanics (I only messed up one panel!)

The front of the card – flat
The back of the card – flat
The top of the card – open
