AAA Cards #312 – Follow Jane’s Lead

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and we challenge you to follow Jane’s lead!

I love this card of Jane’s with the bold panel and simple sentiment. I used some fabris washi tape from 49 & Market ‘Alena’ and then die cut my sentiment. Super simple and I can see myself creating more in this style.

Come join in the fun; we’d love to see how you were inspired. Check out the projects that the other artists at AAA Cards have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Saturday 25th April to link up your project.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Just Add Ink #783 – Colour & Inspiration

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour theme for you!

These colours reminded me of Neopolitan icecream, so was going to make a card with icecream on it. But then I thought they might look fab in thin stripes on a card. So I went to my cardstock scrap stash and cut some thin strips and stuck them to a small rectangle panel. It looked a bit flat so I used my Versamark ink and my Iridescent ice embossing powder and boy did that make a difference. The only thing is it made my chocolate card stock look black! For a final touch, I wrapped it with some pink ribbon added a few gems and a sentiment from the Srtampin Up ‘Fabulous sayings’ stamp set.

Come join in the fun; we’d love to see how you were inspired. Check out the projects that the other artists at Just Add Ink have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Wednesday, 22 April at 7pm (AEST) Australian Eastern Standard Time to link up your project.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

TMR#209 – Vehicles or Transport

This month, I’m fortunate enought to be the Guest Designer over at The Male Room challenge as I was the winner of their Christmas Colours challenge.

The theme this month is Vehicles or Transport.

For my card I used the Greatest Journey stamps, dies and coordinating DSP from Stampin Up. I like how different the card looks closed as compared to open.

If you want to replicate this card her are the instructions for you:

  • card stock (pool party) 10″ by 5 3/4″ scored at 2, 3.5, 6.5, 8
  • DSP 9 7/8″ by 5 5/8″ cut piece of the following widths in order if you have a consecutive pattern -> 1 7/8, 1 3/8, 2 7/8, 1 3/8 anf 1 7/8
  • Die cuts of the clouds (white), the bike rider and the mountain range (black)

I hope I’ve inspired you to play along this month. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you next time.

AAA Birthday #84 – Use Washi Tape

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

I had a large sized washi tape from 49 & Market ‘Botanical’ which I used to created my background panel. I then staped and loosing water coloured a perfume bottle from The Ton ‘Marveous Perfumes’ and a woman from Tim Holtz ‘Runway’ stamp sets. I like how graphic this card looks like.

Come join in the fun; we’d love to see how you were inspired. Check out the projects that the other artists at AAA Birthday have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Thursday 30th April to link up your project.
