Sketch Saturday #720 – Opt twist feature an animal image

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturdays Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I thought this sketch was perfect for a shaker card. I die cut 2 squares and 1 recatangle from some black cardstock, popped it up with dimensionals, added some transparency film behind, then filled it with a variety of coloured stars. I then added the cutest little coloured pig I had in my stash along with a sentiment.

Come join in the fun; we’d love to see how you were inspired. Check out the projects that the other artists at Sketch Saturdays have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. AAA Cards #234 – Circles

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

I was inspired by the citrus coloured circles in the photo board so used the colours and the lined up circles on my card. I inked up the “Main Squeeze’ stamp set from Altenew in the following Altenew inks: Honey Drizzel, Maple Yellow, Fresh Lemon, Citrus Burst, Fore Brick, Autumn Blaze, Orange Cream, Sunkissed, Mountain Pine, Shadow Creek, Grass Field and Firefly.

Just Add Ink #640 – Just Add a Surprise!

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

Now I wasn’t sure what I’d be making or how to include a surprise, so did a bit of looking through my inspiration notebooks I’ve been keeping and landed on some instructions for a card with a pop up gift card holder inside that I came across on YouTube – I think that fits the ‘surprise’ bill.

I used Stampin up DSP ‘Favored Flowers and Calypso Coral card stock. The sentiment is from Technique Junkies ‘SDX077’.

Sketch Saturday #719 – Opt twist use an old stamp

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

For this challenge, I didn’t go with the optional twist, I actually used a new to me stamp from Stampin Up called ‘Pretty Medallion’ which I coloured with my Stampin Blends in granny apple green, parakeet party, flirty flamingo and fresh freesia. The sentiment is from Uniquely Creative.

You can see I used the medallion in place of the circle and the sentiments in place if the diagonal stripes in the sketch. I decided not to add the scalloped edge to the base of my card as I didn’t want it to distract from my medllion which already has plenty of scallopy edges.

Just Add Ink #638 – Just Choose 2 – Candles/Cake/Celebration

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I decided to make a 3D project using all 3 options – cake (die cut box), candles (die cut on the top of the cake) and celebration (birthday greetings). I used some puffy paint to look like the icing on the cake and some ribbon to seal the box up.

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

For my card I used my fabourite stencil from Altenew ‘Layered Dahlia stencil A & B’. I inked it with Stampin Up inks Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay. I created the sentiment on my PC. I added a few enamel dots for some extra texture.
