Sketch Saturday #727 – Opt Make it Masculine

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

This is a great skecth for a masculine card as it lends itself to using different types of DSP for each layer, which is exactly what I did using Stampin Up ‘Come Sail Away’ DSP with a sentiment and anchor from the ‘Go Overboard’ MFT stamp set. I added some gold glitter to the anchors and some twisted twine as the finishing touch.

Sketch Saturday #726 – Opt use sponging on your card

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I decided to do some rainbow sponging through a bubble stencil from Prima Marketing with a variety of Altenew Inks, I added a die cut sentiment to finish the card off.

Sketch Saturday #725 – Opt use a floral image

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

Rather than add DSP for those 2 vertical panels, I decided to score a series of lines. I then stamped and die cut some flowers from the Stampin Up set ‘Two Tone Flora’ using Altenew inks in olive, purple wine and puffy heart. I added some pearls to the centre of the main flower and a sentiment created on my laptop and my card was done.

Sketch Saturday #724 – opt twist make it monochromatic

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I was inspired by this sketch to use some flowers from the Stampin Up True Love DSP which I coloured with my Petal Pink Stampin Blends. I fussy cut the flowers and then added them to a white banner which I popped up for some dimension. The sentiment is from Uniquely Creative.

Sketch Saturday #723 – opt twist add a pick me up theme

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I flipped the sketch horizontal, popped up some DSP from my stash, added a die sentiment from Neat & Tangled over a dotted embossed background and my card was done! How simple right?

Sketch Saturday #722 – Opt twist Use Buttons

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

For my card, I changed the sketch to be verticle. I used all Stampin Up products on my card – stamp sets ‘Hand Penned Petals’ and ‘Special Moments’ . I coloured the flower with my Stampin Blends in shaded spruce and petal pink. The background is Friendly Hello DSP. I added a bow with some twine and a few gems to the centre of the flowers.

Sketch Saturday #721 – Opt twist use an embossing folder

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

For my card I used an embossing folder by Cuttlebug ‘Filigree’ for my background. I then decided to use some white satin ribbon for the verticle stripe in the sketch and the bow became one of the squares. The other square I used for my sentiment.

Sketch Saturday #720 – Opt twist feature an animal image

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturdays Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I thought this sketch was perfect for a shaker card. I die cut 2 squares and 1 recatangle from some black cardstock, popped it up with dimensionals, added some transparency film behind, then filled it with a variety of coloured stars. I then added the cutest little coloured pig I had in my stash along with a sentiment.

Sketch Saturday #719 – Opt twist use an old stamp

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

For this challenge, I didn’t go with the optional twist, I actually used a new to me stamp from Stampin Up called ‘Pretty Medallion’ which I coloured with my Stampin Blends in granny apple green, parakeet party, flirty flamingo and fresh freesia. The sentiment is from Uniquely Creative.

You can see I used the medallion in place of the circle and the sentiments in place if the diagonal stripes in the sketch. I decided not to add the scalloped edge to the base of my card as I didn’t want it to distract from my medllion which already has plenty of scallopy edges.

Sketch Saturday #718 – Opt twist celebrate love

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

How versitle is this sketch? No need to be restricted by the shapes, you can make them whatever you want – like I did using heart dies. I did rotate my card to be verticle rather than horizontal – my go to card base!
