Fusion: Merry, Joy, Cheer

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I followed the sketch and borrowed the banner and gnome from the photo. I used a snow flake embossing folder, a die gnome, a little banner and some scraps of paper. I love it when a card comes together with left over bits and bobs.

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or both! Check out the projects that the other artists at Fusion have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Wednesday, 9th December at 7pm Melbourne Time or Tuesday 8th December 12pm US Pacific Time to link up your project.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

WWC #299 – Heidi’s Challenge: All About Occasions

Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Heidi is our host with an all about occasions challenge this week!

Fusion: Thankful

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I decided to play along with the sketch and the flowers from the photo. I used the peony die set from Stampun Up which I die cut in vellum and lightly inked the edges. The sentiment is from the Ton.

WWC #297 – Helen’s Challenge: All About Occasions

Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Helen is our host with an all about occasions challenge this week!

Wen I saw Heidi Weaver’s card about 10 challenges ago, I knew I had to buy the ‘Masked Mice’ stamp set from Stampendous. It’s compulsory for us to wear masks here in Victoria Australia and I’m so appreciative of the 99% of people who are doing the right thing to help keep us safe from COVID-19. I also recently bought some slim line dies which I thought they and the sentiment were a perfcet match.

Come join in the fun and make a card for an occasion of your chosing. Check out the projects that the other artists at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Tuesday, 16th November at 9:00 Melbourne Time or Monday 15th November 5pm US Mountain Time to link up your project.

Christmas Craft Creations – November – Anything but a Card

Well, this month we have another challenge over at Christmas Craft Creations challenge blog and this time we want you to make anything but a card!

Come join in our fun and add to your Christmas card stash. Visit the challenge blog to check out the inspiration the other CCCettes have made. Link up your card by 3am 8th December (Melbourne time) or 6pm 8th December (UK time).

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

WWC #296 – Michelle’s Challenge: Anything Goes With a Feminine Twist

Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Michelle is our host with feminine challenge this week!

I used a lacey embossing folder, some paper flowers and ribbon that I pleated for my card. It’s a lot more of a pretty style that I make but I still like it.

Come join in the fun and make a feminine card. Cup Day Crafting

It’s a public holiday here in Melbourne all for a horse race – it’s Melbourne Cup Day – the race that stops a nation!

For me,it’s an opportunity toget my craft on.

First up is a card for Just Add Ink #529.

I did a bit of masking and sponging with the colours. The Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight blend so beautifully together. I used a Simon Says Stamp ‘Delicate Flowers’ over the top of the sponged panel and mounted it on top of some shiny silver paper.

Next is a card for the Christmas Card Throwdown #40.

I bought some adorable rectangle tins from Stamp Up and decided to make a folded card to go inside.

The outside of the tin
The inside.
The folded card.

Lastly is a card for AAA Cards #177.

Imade a very simple card using a snowflake die (they look like stars right?) and some shimmery glitter paper behind it.

Well that’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day.

A pinch and a punch for the 1st of the month

I can’t believe it’s November all ready – this year has flown by. Miss K is in the middle of a reading frenzy which leaves me with time to craft!

First is a card for:

Let’s Squash It is a new challenge all about embossing folders and encouraging us to get them out- I have about 55 in my ‘collection’ so I’m thankful for the inspiration. I used a Stampin Up stamp set ‘Geared Up Garage’ and the metal plate embossing folder. I thought the sketch worked beautifully with this folder.

Next is a card for the Alphabet Challenge – O is for old folk!

I have a girlfriend that I have known for 50 years and interpreted this challenge in a slightly different way (old friendship not old age!) – I decided to make a card for her birthday to recognise this fact. I used the ‘Senior Years’ stamp set from Stampin Up.

Next is a card for:

I created an alcohol ink background and then added a die cut sentiment from Uniquely Creative cut from some gold glitter paper.

Well, that’s it for today, thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
