Just Add Ink #605 – Inspiration Photo

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great photo challenge for you!

Such a beautiful inspirational photo. I love walking along the edge of the water at the beach, sinking my feet into the sand. So that’s what inspired my card today. I created the water by ink smooshing a variety of blues and then tearing the edge and adding it over the top of some cork to look like the sand. I then stamped and die cut some palm trees from the SU ‘Paradise Palms’ stamp set and a sentiment from Altenew ‘Spectacular Adventures’.

How will you be inspired?

AAA Cards #215 – No Layers + Plant/Grow/Farm

Hello there, it’s time for another AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

Lots of ideas popped into my mind with this theme that I made 4 cards before I was happy with my idea. I just got a new stamp set from Stampin Up ‘Home & Garden’ that I decided to stamp a few garden tools and then do a bit of masking before I sponged the background.

This will be a good card for one of the men in my life,

Just Add Ink #603 – Colour Challenge

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour challenge for you!

These colours are so pretty together and I knew that they would look fabulous on the Stampin Up ‘Bottled Happiness’ stamp set. I inked up the slim bottle with the Rich Razzleberry and then punched it out with the matching punch. The onto the flowers – which is a 2 step stamp – 1st the leaves in Mint Macaron and then the flowers in Blushing Bride. I fussy cut out the flowers and popped them and the bottle up with dimensions.

I added the bottled flowers onto a textured background panel and then onto a Mint Macaron card base with finishing touches of pearls in the centre of the flowers and some twine around the bottle neck.
