Hello there, it’s time for another Always Fun Challenge where we challenge you to be inspired by a cartoon this week!

TBH, I struggled with this theme and then I thought who better epitomises cartoons than Mickey Mouse! Now I don’t have an Mickey stamps,so I decided to use my punches and paper piecing to make a Mickey balloon and a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp ‘Believe in You’.

Check out the projects that the other artists at Always Fun Challenges have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Sunday, 1st March at 4pm Melbourne Time or Saturday 29th February 11pm US CST to link up your project.

Dressed to Impress

Today I had a bit of a play with a new stamp and die set from Stampin up called ‘Dressed to Impress’.

I’ve decided to enter my card and bag into the following challenges:

I die cut the bag from SU Baked Brown Sugar card stock and used some Bird Ballad DSP for the paneling and card front. I used some gold shiny paper for accent pieces. I coloured the perfume bottle and lightly edged the sentiment with my Petal Pink Stampin Blends.

This set is so adorable and I’ve seen so many ways to use the bag dies that I think I’ll be playing a whole lot more with this set.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Fusion : Decor

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I decided to go with the sketch this time and used some fab DSP from Stampin Up ‘Tropical Oasis’ and the palm trees and sentiment form ‘Timeless Tropical’. I created a sponged rectangle and popped it and the trees up with dimensionals.

I love creating with Stampin Up coordinated products, it makes crafting quick and simple.

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or both! Check out the projects that the other artists at Fusion have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Wednesday, 4th March at 7pm Melbourne Time or Tuesday 3rd March 12pm US Pacific Time to link up your project.

WWC #259 – Dawn’s Challenge: Masculine ‘Anything Goes’

Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Dawn is our host with a masculine challenge this week!

I used a new Stamping Up set called ‘Mountain Air’ for my card this week. I layered the mountains with Seaside Spray and Blueberry Bushel inks on some watercolour paper. I spritzed it with water to get the inks and stamps blending. I used silver embossing powder for the moon. I didn’t add a sentiment as I thought it would take away from the scene I’d created.

Come join in the fun and make a masculine card. Check out the projects that the other artists at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Tuesday, 25th february at 10:00 Melbourne Time or Monday 24th February 5pm US Mountain Time to link up your project.

Sweet Stampin’ Christmas – February – Feature a Sentiment

Well, this month we have another challenge over at Sweet Stampin’ Christmas challenge blog where we’d like you to feature a sentiment.

I used a sentiment from Winnie & Walker ‘In a word merry’ which I stamped multiple times and heat embossed in clear embossing powder and then ink smooshed a few different greens inks. I added a tiny Christmas word and mounted it all on a white card base and my card was done.

Come join in our fun and add to your Christmas card stash. Visit the challenge blog to check out the inspiration the other CaSSettes have made. Link up your card by 5am 11th March (Melbourne time) or 6pm 10th March (UK time).
