Case Me a Christmas Card with Michelle Lupton

I’m thrilled to have been asked by Michelle Lupton to join her in her Case Me a Christmas Card series again this year.

Michelle has asked lots of friends in blogland to CASE one of her cards and make it with a Christmas twist and she in turn will CASE one of our cards.   I played along last year which was heaps of fun. For her challenge this year, I chose this adorable card she made back in July 2022.

I was inspireed by the layout, the rainbow cloud sponging and the cute penguin above her sentiment.

I sponged my rainbow clouds using Stampin Up inks in Highland Heather, Tahitian Tide, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Polished Pink. I coloured and fussy cut the super cute Christmas dog from the Colorado Craft Company stamp set ‘Christmas Hats’ and added a Stampin Up sentiment from ‘Mistletoe Magic’.

Well thanks for stopping by for a look and I hope we’ve inspired you to think about taking inspiration from and CASEing a fellow crafter!

Fusion: Christmas Chalkboard

Hello there, it is with a heavy heart that I tell you this will be the last time Fusion Challenge. Like many, the past 2 years have been tough on all involved in the challenge and we’ve decided that it is time to take time out for ourselves. We’ve had so much fun creating cards to inspire you all to play along with us. We hope you’ll play along this one last time as we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I decided to fuse the sketch and photo for my card. I used some checkered DSP for my background, stamped and heat embossed in white my sentiment from KaiserKraft ‘Fa La La’ then added some holly from the Stampin Up ‘Mistletoe Magic’ stamp set that I coloured with my Stampin Blends.

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or fuse them together and play with both! Just Add Ink #631 – Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

What a cool sketch. Being November, it’s all about needing Christmas cards for me, so I went to my scrap stash of Christmas DSP and die cut some pieces to form the wave shape. I then stamped the sentiment from Stampin Up ‘Dove of Hope’ and die cut that with a postage stamp die. Popped it up over some gold thread and my card was done.

Well hello there. Today I am a guest designer over at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers as I was crowned Queen for the P is for Pink challenge.

This new challenge is all about J is for Juvenille.

I used a really cute stamp and die set from Pink Fresh ‘Magical Unicorm’ that I inked up with Stampin Up Inks – Gorgeous Grape, Shaded Spruce and Daffodil Delight. The sentiment is from The Ink Road ‘Zero F*cks’.

I think I know who this card will be going to!

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

It’s that time of year where I’m writing up my Christmas cards and realise that I’m a bit short, so was super happy for this theme. I fussy cut out some cute little gingerbread guys from the Stampin Up Candy Cane Lane DSP. I popped them up over some stars on some textured red card stock. The sentiment is from Uniquely Creative.

Just Add Ink #629 – Just Add Wings

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great challenge for you!

I just recieved a Stampin Up delivery and a couple of my new items were perfect for this challenge. I used the Pretty Birds stamp and die set for my project. I die cut 4 of the bird cage die and glued them together to make a 3D bird cage. I then stamped 3 of the budgies (did a bit of mirror stamping), coloured them in with my Stampin Blends, die cut them out and then glued them together so that you could see them from any side. I then added them randomly to the cage looking like a couple of them had escaped!
