AAA Cards #262 – Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great sketch for you!

I used some fussy cut flowers from Stampin Up DSP ‘True Love’ and placed them where the two rectangles where. I then added some die cut letters to form my sentiment. I love how soft and feminine this card is.

Come join in the fun; we’d love to see how you were inspired. Check out the projects that the other artists at AAA Cards have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Saturday, 13th April to link up your project.

Just Add Ink #695 – Just Add Chocolate

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I found this a VERY broad theme and it stumped me for a bit, but then my daughter had me buy her a block of chocolate at the supermarket which lead to my inspiration.

To make my block I cut a series of squares and popped up the smaller ones to look like chocolate block squares. I added some crystal lacquer to make it shiny, wrapped it in foil, added an embossed outside wrapper and a belly band using a die cut with a sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays ‘Coffee talk’ and my card was done.

Sketch Saturday #747 – Opt Black and White

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I love a good black and white card – they’re very classy! For my card I used some diagonal stripe DSP and fussy cut flowers from the Stampin Up ‘True Love’ DSP along with a sentiment from Uniquely Creative. I added a couple of chrome pearls and my card was done.

AAA Cards #261 – Spring/Spring Colours

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

It’s Autumn here in the Southern Hemisphere so it’s nice to think about sunny colours and warmer weather! I used a retired Stampin Up stamp set for my card – ‘Inspired by Nature’ inked up in Old Olive and Lemon Lime Twist and paired with Sizzix embosslit ‘Beautiful wings’ using some scrap cardstock. I added some little pearls to the centres of some of the butterflies and a sentiment from Uniquely Creative.

Just Add Ink #693 – Just Choose Two – Circles/Squares/Sayings

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

For my card, I chose circles and sayings. I used four different sized circle punchs and some scrap cardstock to make a series of circles, either whole or missing their centres. I then stamped the sentiment (which looks like a saying!) from CAS-ual Fridyas ‘Whole Shebang’. I’m really happy with how this came out.

Sketch Saturday #746 opt feature an animal

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

This sketch made me think of sunshine and sunrays. So I went to a stamp set from Papertrey Ink called ‘Hello sunshine’ using some Altenew inks to form the ombre sunrays.

AAA Cards #260 Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great sketch for you!

I used a retired stamp set from Stampin Up called “Dressed to Impress’. I stamped the perfume bottle four times with some inks from Altenew for the scribble pattern in the bottle centres and then die cut them out to use along the card edge.

AAA Birthday #59 – Geometric

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

I love this theme as there are so many ways you can add geometic elements to your card. For my card, I did a lot of die cutting with the Stampin Up ‘The Right Triangle’ dies and cardstock in Real Red, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink. I then used the same cardstock to die cut my happy sentiment three times and layered them slightly off-set.
