Just Add Ink #785 – Just Add Dies-Stencils or Both

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

This stencil set from Altenw is one of my all time favourites – Layered Dahlias. I use two inks from Catherin Pooler Designs – Pink Campagne and Pucker Up. I added some clear glimmer to the paler petals which you just might be able to make out. I then die cut the sentiment, popped it all on some layers then the card base and I was done!

Just Add Ink #784 – Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I love this type of sketch as the circles could be anything you want them to be! I had some previously stamped, watercoloured and cut out perfume bottles (the Ton ‘ Marvelous perfumes’) in my stash that I felt were fercvts for this sketch. I popped the up on a circle die cut them onto an embossed background panel (Stampin Up ‘Mosiac Tie’ EF) and then onto my card base.

Just Add Ink #783 – Colour & Inspiration

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour theme for you!

These colours reminded me of Neopolitan icecream, so was going to make a card with icecream on it. But then I thought they might look fab in thin stripes on a card. So I went to my cardstock scrap stash and cut some thin strips and stuck them to a small rectangle panel. It looked a bit flat so I used my Versamark ink and my Iridescent ice embossing powder and boy did that make a difference. The only thing is it made my chocolate card stock look black! For a final touch, I wrapped it with some pink ribbon added a few gems and a sentiment from the Srtampin Up ‘Fabulous sayings’ stamp set.

Just Add Ink #782 – Choose Two or More

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I opted to use Sequins and Rhinestones on my card. I have a HUGE stash of both in my craft cupboard so had some fun using them on my card to make them look like champagne liquid exploding from my bottle! I drew the bottle and stamped the sentiment from the PTI ‘Uncorked’ stamp set.

Just Add Ink #781 – Just Add Wings

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

This theme allows for many interpretations from angel wings, buterfly wings, birds etc. I opted for a die cut butterfly on my card – I cut one in vellum and one in white card stock and layered them on top of each other. My background I embossed a panel using the Couture creations ‘Symbols’ folder and then on the other panel, I tore the long edge, sponged Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink in Specked Egg and Unchartered Marina. I stampted an unknown text stamp oer the sponging, splattered some of the Unchartered Marina ink and added some diamentes for some bling bling.

Just Add Ink #780 – Just Add Stencils/Dies or Both

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I went with dies for my card. I had a old brick die in my stash that I hadn’t used for ages and thought it would be perfect behind the flowers and die cut leaf from the Strampin Up ‘Memorable Blooms’ stamp set. I coloured the flowers with a Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend in Megenta.

Just Add Ink #776 – Choose Two or More

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you. You can choose two or more from – trees-twine-stripes-snow-shimmer-stockings!

I used some Stampin Up products DSP Whimsy & Wonder and Stamp/dies Whimsical Trees. The DSP had trees-stripes-shimmer in it which gave me three of the six items listed. I die cut a variety of the trees and then popped some up once and twice to provide some dimension and interest.
