Challenge Crafting

I’ve been crafting along with some challenges these past few days before I go away with Miss K for a well deserved break.

First up is a card for the Paper Players # 522 and Colour Hues #9.

I just bought the Stampin Up Darling Donkeys stamp set and had to get colouring. I added my little guy over a die cut plaid background.

Next is a card for the Global Design Project #273.

These colours are so lovely and feminine. I used some Stampin Up DSP from the Paper Blooms pack which I had poke out from behind some embossed side panels and added the sentiment over the top.

Next is a card for Cardz 4 Galz #137 – more than 1 fold.

I made a tri-fold card using Stampin Up products – DSP Fine Art Floral, Golden Garden Acetate and Art Gallery stamp set.

Next is a card for Tuesday Morning Sketches #587 and The Spot #144.

I used Pretty Perrennials from Stampin Up to create my floral images. I opted for ribbon instead of a sentiment. I love how these flowers pop against the black and white DSPs.

Well, that’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by and looking. Enjoy your day.

Post New Year Crafting

Happy New Year everyone. I’m on leave at the moment and it’s raining cats and dogs outside so it’s a great chance for me to get my craft on.

First up is a card for:

I made a card with a kite fold element on the front. I’ve been trying different types of folds on cards lately and thought this was super fun. The DSP is from Stampin Up and the stamps are from Simon Says Stamp.

Next is a card for:

I decided to make a tall slimline card and used the Pedal to the Metal stamp set from Stampin Up coloured with my Stampin Blends.

Next is a card for TGIF #297 – Colour Challenge.

I used a piece of DSP from Love Nicole ‘ Monochrome’ and a sentiment form Simon Says Stamp ‘Big Birthday Wishes’.

Next is a card for:

I made a simle card using Stampin Up’s Garden Wishes, where I gold embossed the flower head and then used the rectangle frame embossing folder.

Lastly is a card for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #175 – L is for Lewd Christmas.

I used the Beautiful Baubles stamp set from Stampin Up which I coloured with my Stampin Blends and added a sentiment I created on my computer.

Well that’s it for today. The rain has now stopped and being Melbourne, the sun is out! Thanks for stopping by for a look; enjoy the rest of your weekend.
