Fusion: Winter

Well hello there. Today I’m privileged to be joining the Design Team over at Fusion Card Challenges. I’ve loved their challenges for ages and have been a constant player in the past so am trilled to be joining this group of talented gals.

This week we have a great sketch and inspiration photo for you!

I loved this sketch and decided to do a few layers of black and white with a pop of colour with an Altenew flower from ‘Wallpaper Art’ coloured with my Stampin Blends and a Stampin Up sentiment from ‘Here’s a card’.

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or both! Check out the projects that the other artists at Fusion have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Wednesday, 22nd January at 7pm Melbourne Time or Tuesday 21st January 12pm US Pacific Time to link up your project.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Get Creative Challenges – Something New

Well hello and welcome to today’s post. It’s time for another challenge over at Get Creative Challenges where its Anything Goes with an optional twist to add something new. It could be a house, baby, car, kitten – you get the drift.

Our sponsor is Dr Digi’s House of Stamps.

I used a Dr Digi image called ‘Climbing Kitties’ for my card which I loosely watercoloured and then added to a messy watercoloured background with a multi stamped heat embossed sentiment over it.

We have a new kitten in our household and he has a climbing pole like this, so I just had to use this image on my card.

Check out the Get Creative Challenge blog for details on the sponsor prizes and links to the other fabulous projects from the DT and come join in our fun and share your anything goes project by 1pm Monday 13th January (Melbourne time) or 11pm Sunday 12th January (US Eastern Standard time)

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Always Fun Challenges #144 – ‘Something New’ Challenge

Hello there, it’s time for another Always Fun Challenge where our theme is ‘something new’.

I used a new paper and die set from Stampin Up for my card. You’ll be able to buy this from the SU 2020 Mini-Catalogue – it’s called Timeless Tropical. I added a sentiment from Altenew ‘Birthday Greetings’ and my card was done.

Miss K is heading off to a Tropical 13th birthday, so this card will be perfect for her friend.

Come join in the fun and make a card with something new or for someone new! Check out the projects that the other artists at Always Fun Challenges have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Sunday, 12th January at 4pm Melbourne Time or Saturday 11th Janauary 11pm US CST to link up your project.

I’m also going to enter this card over at Seize the Birthday #180 – Layer it.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

CAS Mix Up – January 2020 – Guest Designer

Hello there, today I am a guess designer over on the CAS Mix Up challenge blog as I was the top pick for October.

This month the January challenge wants you to use partial die-cutting + stamping + your choice on your card.

Here are some tutorials to assist and inspire you:

For my card I used a cute little hedgehog stamp from Simon Says Stamp which I partially die cut a circle die around him as a highlight. I then added a few alcohol marker coloured oak leaves around the edges.

Come join in the fun and check out the projects that the other artists at CAS Mix Up have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Saturday, 25th January at 5:00 Melbourne Time or Friday 24th January 10:00 PDT to link up your project.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.
