Couple of cards for a couple challenges.

Well it’s Sunday afternoon again (how does it come around so fast) and I’ve been playing in my craft room.

I’ve made 2 cards today for 4 challenges.

First up is a card for Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #202 – G is for geli printing.

SoSS is one of my favourite challenges to play along with as I get a chance to be nice and snarky! For my card I used 2 colours of acrylic paint and 2 different stencils. I then stamped a female skull and sentiment then popped them up over my geli printed background panel.

I love the graphic look of this card and how I was reminded to use a long forgotten crafty tool

My second card is for:

I made a card for my gorgeous daughter for Valentine’s Day. I used a new stamp set from Uniquely Creative ‘Gorgeous Girl’ and I watercoloured the flowers in her hair. I love watercolouring as you can be as precise or loose as you want and every time the outcome will be different.

I love how this turned out and it is perfect for my daughter.

Well, that’s all I have time for today as I must start getting things ready for my daughter’s return to school on Tuesday.

Thanks for stopping by for a look.

It’s amazing how the world of card making can bring people together, and I’m constantly inspired by the diversity of styles and ideas that come my way. Beyond my card-making adventures, I lead a pretty busy life in the learning and development field, where I work full time as a Learning Lead. I thrive on helping others grow and reach their full potential, and it’s a role that keeps me on my toes and constantly learning. When I’m not immersed in the world of work or crafting, you can find me on the netball court, coaching and sharing my love for the game with a bunch of amazing individuals. So, whether I’m crafting, guiding professional development, or coaching on the court, I’m all about embracing lifes colorful and creative possibilities! 1. Love the card with the girl with flowers in her hair. Great job of watercolouring the flowers. I like how the image pops off the patterned paper background. Thanks for joining us at Happy Little Stampers ~ Watercolour Challenge.
