End of long weekend crafting

It’s been quite some time since I’ve been able to craft without any interruptions and play along with a few challenges.

We’ve had an extra long weekend here in Melbourne and with Miss K away camping with her botfriend, I’ve been able to play in my craft room guilt free!

I’ve made 4 cards for 4 challenges.

First up is a card for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers 218 – K is for Kraft and this might be the first time my card has not been snarky!

I used a kraft card base and stamped the Altenew ‘Sketched Evergreen’ tree in White, then Old Olive and then Mossy Meadow ink. I found the white ink helped the 2 greens pop off the Kraft cardstock. I then did some offset stamping for the sentiment.

Next up is a card for Less is More 474 – Friendship.

I used a stamp set I got in a craft magazine called ‘Best friends’ that I coloured with my Stampin Blends.

My third card is for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge 180. I chose the 3rd vertical options of flowers, circle and berries

I decided to make a Christmas ornament with the Stampin Up ‘Mistletoe Magic’ stamp set and matching dies. I then added a couple of die cut tiny poinsettias along with some ribbon to hang it on the tree.

My final card is for the Global Design Project 361 – Color Combo.

I used the Pink Fresh ‘Floral Focus’ stamp set and matching stencils for my card along with a sentiment from Uniquely Creative.

Will that’s it for today. Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hey there! I’m a card-making enthusiast with a passion for creativity that knows no bounds. Currently, I’m fortunate to be a part of four fantastic international card design teams, where I get to explore my craft and connect with fellow artists from all corners of the globe. It’s amazing how the world of card making can bring people together, and I’m constantly inspired by the diversity of styles and ideas that come my way. Beyond my card-making adventures, I lead a pretty busy life in the learning and development field, where I work full time as a Learning Lead. I thrive on helping others grow and reach their full potential, and it’s a role that keeps me on my toes and constantly learning. When I’m not immersed in the world of work or crafting, you can find me on the netball court, coaching and sharing my love for the game with a bunch of amazing individuals. So, whether I’m crafting, guiding professional development, or coaching on the court, I’m all about embracing lifes colorful and creative possibilities! Thanks for stopping by my corner of the web, and I hope you enjoy exploring my card creations and more.

  1. So much variety here!!! I love them all but of course I’m partial to the one you made for us at the Sisterhood. Such an elegant look to the kraft cardstock. Thanks so much for playing along!
