Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Dawn is our host with a masculine challenge this week!

Valentine Cards

Well it’s Valentines Day here in Australia and my hubby is away golfing and fishing with a friend! He’s actually been gone for a week and still has 4 days left before he comes home; we’re not big fans of Valentines Day so will have a dinner when he gets home and he’ll get one of these cards.

I ended up making 5 cards yesterday and this morning for 11 challenges!

First up is a card for:

I flipped the sketch to be vertical and then added some pink and red stripes across the centre along with a brown die cut heart and a few little heart sequins. The sentiment is from the Ton ‘Basic Labels’.

Next is a card for The Spot Creative Challenge #149.

Another simple card using strips of pink, red and green cardstock along with a little bit of floral stamping and a popped up die cut heart; the sentiment is from The Ton ‘Basic Labels’.

Next is a card for:

I die cut 4 hearts from shades of red and pink then added a die cut sentiment.

Next is a card for:

I used a new stamp set from Uniquely Creative ‘Love Letters’ that has the most adorable images. I coloured the flying heart and envelope and popped them up over a cloud sponged corner.

Lastly is a card for Shopping Our Stash #438 – Love is in the air.

I used the Uniquely Creative ‘Love Letters’ stamp set again and popped up my coloured bunnies over a full cloud sponged background.

Well, that’s it for today – enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for stopping by for a look.

Christmas Craft Creations – Blue & Silver

Come join in our fun and add to your Christmas card stash. Visit the challenge blog to check out the inspiration the other CCCettes have made. Link up your card by 3am 9th March (Melbourne time) or 6pm (UK time).

Fusion: Valentine Gnome

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I was inspired by the gnome in the photo and the neutral colour scheme. I used a female gnome die (think its Simon Says Stamp but didn’t write the company on the back) and placed her over a grey and white floral DSP from Stampin Up where I coloured one flower for balance.

I think she’s adorable and hope the hubby does too when he gets this.

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or fuse them together and play with both! Check out the projects that the other artists at Fusion have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Wednesday, 17th February at 7pm Melbourne Time or Tuesday 16th February 12pm US Pacific Time to link up your project.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Masking Save

Today I decided to play along with Just Us Girls #569 which is all about masking.

Whilst I was making my card and had almost finished my masked panel, I dropped my green ink pad across the card.

Not wanting to waste all the masking that I’d done, I decided to fussy cut the masked piece and then mount it onto a lightly embossed panel with a few extra floral elements and a sentiment.

I used Stampin Up ‘All Things Fabulous’ stamp set and inks in Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose, Merry Merlot, Highland Heather and Old Olive. The sentiment is from the Stampin Up ‘So Sentimental’ stamp set which has some great matching dies.

The finished card.

I’m also linking this card up to the Library Challenge #75.

Thanks for stopping by for a look. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Rainy Saturday Crafting

Well it’s been raining here – second day actually – but the gardens are really appreciative and so am I as I can get my craft on. Hold on as this is going to be a loooooong post!

First card is for Let’s Squash It #4 – Use an embossing folder & an animal.

I used a small rectable frame and the Hey Chick stamp set from Stampin Up on my card. Quick and simple.

Next is a card for:

I used the adorable Hello Bluebird ‘Joyful Mouse’ for my card. I coloured and fussy cut out the mouse in the stocking and then hung him from the sentiment.

My next card is for:

I loved the sketch and decided to keep my card monochrome. I die cut the sleigh bells from silver foil cardstock and added the setiment from Stampin Up ‘Curvy Christmas.

Next is a card for:

I used a stencil from Tim Holtz ‘Stripes, an image from ‘Crazy Cats’ and sentiment from Simon Says Stamp ‘Celebrate You’.

Next is a card for:

For my card I used the adorable pair of bunnies from Picket Fences ‘Peach & Pipper’ with a sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays ‘Cupid’s Arrow’.

Next is a card for Festive Friday #76 – Chinese New Year.

I included the dragon, red and gold from the list and used the dragon and sentiment from Uniquely Creative ‘Lucky you’ stamp set.

Next is a card for Shopping our Stash #437 – I Need a Cup of Coffee.

I used a digi stamp set printed on 3 types of DSP and paper pieced my coffee cup together. I added them to an ink smooshed background.

Next is a card for:

I recently bought the Stampin Up ‘Sweet Ice Cream’ stamp set and matching DSP; and thought it would be a good match for the colours and sketch.

Lastly is a card for:

I used the Stampin Up ‘Celebrate Sunflowers’ stamp set and matching dies for my card. I followed the right hand vertical of white-stitching-die cut.

Well, that’s it for today. Thanks for perservering with this extra long post. Seems like I’ve got by grooze back!

More Australia Day Made Cards

I made three additional cards on Tuesday and am finally posting them here and to their respective challenges.

First up is a card for the Unicorn Challenge blog #61 – Clean & Simple (CAS).

I used another one of the Stampin Bella ‘Oddball birds’ for my card, this time sitting on a branch.

Next is a card for TGIF Challenges #300.

I love the Fine Art Floral set from Stampin Up on the catalogue cover and decided to fussy cut some images from one of the suite DSP pairing with a sentiment form the ‘Heal Your Heart’ stamp set.

Lastly is a card for Color Hues #10 – Navy & Cream.

I used the Pretty Perrenials and Strong & Beutiful stamp sets from Stampin Up for my card.

Well, that’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by for a look. Enjoy the rest of your day.
