Christmas Card Making in July

Today is a cold and wintery day here in Melbourne, which encouraged me to make Christmas cards. I played along with four different challenges for my four cards.

First up is a card for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #214 – C is for Christmas.

For my card I used two stamps sets – ‘Bright & Breezy’ from Stamps by Chloe and ‘N-7874’ from The Cat’s Pajamas. I stamped and coloured the underwear with my Stampin Blends then cut them out and added to a simple card base with my sentiment.

Next up is a card for Less is More #469 – Traditional Chrismas.

I made an OLC using the beautiful tree from the Altenew ‘ Sketched Evergreen’ inked up with three different greens.

My third card is for 52 Christmas Card Throwdown #27 – Christmas Floral.

I used a Stampin Up die set ‘Poinsettia Petals’ with a sentiment from ‘Leaves of Holly’.

My last card is for the ABC Christmas Challenge – N is for New or O is for Old.

I used a new stamp set from Stampin Up called ‘Mistletoe Magic’. I embossed a background panel with a Merry Christmas script, then stamped, coloured and die cut three mistletoe images and popped them over the sentiment strip.

Well, that’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by for a look. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers – Z is for Zombies

Today I had a chance to get crafty with the current Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge – Z is for Zombies.

It feels like ages since I’ve crafted with the Sisters, but I couldn’t resist this theme!

For my card I created a sponged background panel using a variety of green distress inks from Tim Holtz, added some embossed lightning bolts from Altenew ‘Rain or Shine’ and printed a digital image from E9 Designs on Etsy.

I love how this card came out. Thanks for stopping by for a look. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

Just Add Ink #609 – Just Add Flowers

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

While I was on holidays the other week, I bought a craft magazine that had an amazing stamp set called ‘Japanese Dreams’ and that’s where I got this lovely blossom flower from. I stamped it close to the edge and then coloured it with my Stampin Blends. I then fussy cut along the edge and popped it up on a card base with some gorgeous gold sparkle on it. The sentiment is from Uniquely Creative which I cut apart and individually popped up.

Isn’t she pretty?
