AAA Birthday #60 – Shaker

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

I love a good shaker card, so was super happy with this challenge suggestion! I used a new stamp set from Stampin Up called ‘Simply Sparkling’ and turned the soft drink can into my shaker element. I made a simple z-fold style card and kept the focus on the front panel and my shaker can.

AAA Birthday #59 – Geometric

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

I love this theme as there are so many ways you can add geometic elements to your card. For my card, I did a lot of die cutting with the Stampin Up ‘The Right Triangle’ dies and cardstock in Real Red, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink. I then used the same cardstock to die cut my happy sentiment three times and layered them slightly off-set.

AAA Birthday #58 – Hearts

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

I have a friend who’s birthday is on Valentines Day so this challenge theme was perfect inspiration for this card. I used some Stampin Up DSP scraps in strips on some acetate and I then die cut the panel with a heart shaped die. I die cut a couple of flowers from the same DSP and added them on top of the heart. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment and then popped the heart up with dimensional tape.

AAA Birthday #56 – Add a Tag

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

I love making tags and think they look super cute on a card. After making this tag/card I realised that there is absolutely NO STAMPING on it. I die cute the tag, hearts and sentiment which I popped up over some scrap DSP on a whote card base.

AAA Birthday #55 – Large Sentiment

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

I love the idea of making my sentiment the hero of my card. I used a birthday die to cut background and then the letters from some Stamin Up DSP ‘Favoured Flowers’ which I popped up over a couple of fussy cut DSP flowers and layers of Grapefruit Grove and Strawberry Slush cardstock on a white card base. I added a few glittery dots to fill some gaps and my card was done!

AAA Birthday #54 – Favourite Colours

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

I love a good rainbow coloured card and thought I’d use a new to me die set of different styles of diamonds to cau a series of rainbow elements which I attached to a panel on my card base than I added a sentiment from Uniquely Creative. It was such a quick and easy card to make and all the bright colours make me happy!

AAA Birthday #53 – Animals

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

Anyone who knows me knows that I love adding animals to my cards, so this is a perfect theme for me. I used one of the Tim Holtz dogs from the ‘Crazy Dogs’ stamp set along with a party hat from ‘Crazy Things’. I loosely water coloured them, then fussy cut them out. I took some Stampin Up DSP from ‘Playful Pets’ that I folded back so I could pop my pup peeking from behind. The background is created with a series of die cut paw prints. I love how this card came out.

AAA Birthday #52 – Anything Birthday Goes

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

For my card I used a 4-step stencil from Altenew ‘Golden Days’ that I sponged 4 different shades of orange. I added a sentiment I created on my PC and a few sequins for some extra interest.

AAA Birthday #50 – Water Colours

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

Using water colours on my cards is one of my favourite techniques. For this card I had a die cut hummingbird in my stash that I decided to water colour behind and pop up over a black frame.
