Sketch Saturday #763 – opt make it a sympathy card

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I’m still in need of Christmas cards, so I didn’t go with the optional theme. I used some DSP from Stampin Up called ‘Joy of Christmas’ on the top panel of my card and then the reverse side on my tag. I had a glittery dove in my stash which was perfect for the bottom of my tag. I typed my sentiment on my PC and addit and some thread to the tag and my card was done.

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I used some great DSP from Stampin Up called ‘Ready to Ride’ that had different tyre tracks in verticle lines. I stamped the larger motorcycle from the Stampin Up ‘Legendary Ride’ stamp set and die cut the flames from some Real Red cardstcok.

Sketch Saturday #761 – Opt use orange on your card

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I love the colour orange so it was an easy decision for me to use it on my card. I also used some new DSP from Stampin Up called ‘Mediterranean Blooms’ that I fussy cut a bloom that had 3 ornages on it to match the sketch. I popped the image up over a pair of die cut circles and added a sentiment from my stash.

As you can see, I didn’t go with the optional twist! I decided to make a Christmas card using up some DSP I had in my stash. The sentiment is from Uniquely Creative.

Sketch Saturday #759 opt twist feature a sentiment

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I thought this sketch would work well with some old DSP I had, a die cut Sanat and his sleigh plus a sentiment from Stampin Up ‘Whimsical trees’. I super quick and easy Christmas card!

Sketch Saturday #758

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I thought this sketch leant itself to using a large sentiment in the centre and I knew the Kaiserkraft ‘Fa La La’ stamp was just perfect for it. I gold embossed the sentiment and popped the panel into a couple of layers of red and green cardstock. I added some old flocked DSP on my card base and then some gliter gold die cut leaves in place of the sketch swirls.

Sketch Saturday #756

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I thought the rectangles in the sketch looked like trees, so decided to make a Christmas card to add to my stash. I used a few of the tress from the Clearly Besotted set ‘Modern Chrismas’ inked up in Altenew Moss and Olive inks. The sentiment is from a miscelaneous set I have.

Sketch Saturday #755 opt twist Christmas in July

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I went with the optional twsist for my card as I felt the middle of the sketch looked like a Christmas tree. I used some old Stampin up DSP ‘Lights a glow’ along with a die from the ‘Winter Woods’ set and a pre-printed sentiment from Uniquely Creative.

Don’t you love it when you make a card with absolutely no stamping on it?!

Sketch Saturday #754 – 5th Saturday – Pick from the archives

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and being the 5th Saturday in the month, we ask you to delve back into our sketch archives and pick a sketch that speaks to you!

For my card, I went back to June 2020 for Sketch #615. I had a strip of DSP in my scrap bin which was perfect for this sketch. I paired it with other colours from the DSP to create my layers. For the circle elements, I used some vellum and added crystal effects ontop to given them dimension and shine.

Sketch Saturday #753 Opt twist non-traditional holiday colours (any holiday)

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I opted for a monocrome look for my card. I used a pre-made office tag, added some water coloured and fussy cut flowers in place of the sketch square, embossed my background panel with a dotty embossing folder, added some twine and a sentiment from Uniquely Creative and my card was done.
