Express yourself

I love making cards for boys as it pushes me out of my comfort zone. I look for inspiration in challenges and found 2 that would help me make this next card:

I used a digital image from Stampin Up called ‘Extreme Surfboard’ that I printed then ink smooshed with SU Pacific Point ink and added some white puffy paint for the crest of the waves. I mounted the card on some SU Tempting Turquoise cardstock and added a bit of grey thread for the bow.

I think I rocked this masculine card.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

  1. Wow, Tristan, what a terrific masculine card! The colours in your background are perfect for this extreme surfer. I love that he’s kept as a silhouette while the blues and whites rage around him. The foam at the crest of the waves which you’ve created with the puffy paint is brilliant. The added dimension and interest makes this a total “WOW” card. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
