WWC #279 – Helen’s Challenge: All About Occasions

Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Helen is our host with an All About Occasions challenge this week!

I made a double Z fold card using some lovey Magnolia Lane DSP from Stampin Up . I made a 3D magnolia for the front and the sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays ‘Breath’. I have a plain white panel on the back to be able to write my greeting. I’m not sure what occasion I’ll use this card for but I think it will fit many.

Week Off Crafting

I’m on a week’s leave as I’ve been soooo busy at work for the last 12 weeks that I just needed some time off to rest and recuperate. I’ve taken advantage on my first day to get a little bit crafty.

First up is a card for Just Add Ink #512.

I used a digital image and sentiment fro Stampin Up ‘Share Sunshine’ which I coloured with my Stampin Blends and added to may card base with some hand drawn lines to match the sketch.

Next is a fun card for The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #163 – Water.

I had fun with a water stencil and a die cut cat. I made the cat appear to be hanging over the water trying not to fall in.

Next is a card for the Paper Players #498.

I love making fancy fold cards and went for a curtain reveal style fancy fold. I used the ‘Whiskey Business’ stamp set from Stampin Up coloured with my Stampin Blends.

This is the front of my card.
This is the card when the tab is pulled up.

Well, that’s it for today – thanks for looking and enjoy your week.

Get Creative Challenges #93 – Birthday

Well hello and welcome to today’s post. It’s time for another challenge over at Get Creative Challenges where its Anything Goes with an optional twist of a birthday theme.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Fabrika Fantasy Digital Stamps. Check out the site as there are some amazing images.

I chose the Happy Mouse digital stamp for my card.; which I printed and coloured with my Stampin Blends. I die cut my image out with a circle die, mounted it on black card stock and then a couple of different DSP onto a black card base. I added a bit of ribbon behind the sentiment and the card was done!

Check out the Get Creative Challenge blog for details on the sponsor prizes and links to the other fabulous projects from the DT and come join in our fun and share your anything goes project by 1pm Monday 1st August (Melbourne time) or 11pm Sunday 31st July (US Eastern Standard time)

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

WWC #278 – Michelle’s Challenge: Anything Goes Feminine

Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Michelle is our host with feminine challenge this week!

It was my Mother-in-Laws 80th birthday the other week and I wanted to make her a really special card. I decided to make a fancy fold card called a carousel card. It was an engineering feat and took me about 4 hours to complete – I even made and decorated the envelope. I used the Stampin Up ‘Bird Ballad’ stamp set and matching DSP.

The envelope and closed card front.
The card opened up.

Another view of the open card.

I’m so happy with how this turned out and my MIL absolutely loved it.
