WWC #278 – Michelle’s Challenge: Anything Goes Feminine

Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Michelle is our host with feminine challenge this week!

It was my Mother-in-Laws 80th birthday the other week and I wanted to make her a really special card. I decided to make a fancy fold card called a carousel card. It was an engineering feat and took me about 4 hours to complete – I even made and decorated the envelope. I used the Stampin Up ‘Bird Ballad’ stamp set and matching DSP.

The envelope and closed card front.
The card opened up.
Looking down on the carousel of the card.
Another view of the open card.

I’m so happy with how this turned out and my MIL absolutely loved it.

Come join in the fun and make a feminine card. Check out the projects that the other artists at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Tuesday, 7th July at 9:00 Melbourne Time or Monday 6th July 5pm US Mountain Time to link up your project.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

  2. Fabulous Tristan. This is one fun type of card to make and your choice of papers and stamps is awesome. Love how you made the matching envelope.
