Playing with the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #220

As you all have probably realised, I love a bt of sass and snark on my cards and the challenges over at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers always get my creative juices flowing.

The current challenge is P is for Pink.

For my card I used a scaredy cat from the Tim Holtz ‘Crazy Cats’ stamp set. I lightly water coloured him using the Tim Holtz Distress Watercolour Pencils. The sentiment is from Crakerbox & Suzy Stamps ‘Kitty Annoyed’. I popped my sentiment panel up over a couple of Stampin Up DSP pieces.

Thanks for stopping by for a look and I hope you have a great week.

Playing with CAS Colours & Sketches #492

Today I’m playing along with the colour challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches. Added bonus they’re also looking for new Desgin Team members so I’m going to throw my hat in the ring too!

For my card I used a super cute gnome die set and cardstock from Stampin Up. The sentiment is from Uniquely Creative.

I love using non-traditional colours for Christmas cards. Thanks for stopping by for a look; enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Fusion: Kitchen

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I found my inspiration from the window in the photo with that pretty garland around the frame. I used a die and stamp set from Stampin Up ‘Garden Greenhouse’ which I die cut the glasshouse from white cardstock and added some stamped flowers behind the die with some acetate to look like the windows. I then die cut a few leaves and flowers for balance outside the glasshouse.

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or fuse them together and play with both! Just Add Ink #625 – Inspiration

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great inspiration photo for you!

So many pretty colours in this photo, that I used them and the flowers to inspire my card. The flowers were from the Stampin Up ‘Cottage Rose’ stamp set coloured with my Stampin’ Blends in Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie and Blackberry Bliss. I used the matching dies to cut them out, then layered them over some sponged Smokey Slate and popped up a sentiment from Uniquely Creative.

SoSS219: D is for Drunk

Took a bit of a break from household chores today to do some crafting.

I played along with the current challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #219 – D is for Drunk.

I love their cheeky themes and knew I had a few stamp sets that would fit the challenge bill. I created an ink smooshed background with a few different red inks from Altenew. I then stamped the sentiment from Picket Fences ‘Sip Happens’ and stamped and die cut the bottle and glasses from PTI ‘Uncorked’.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Fusion: Autumn Leaves

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I was inspired by the colour scheme for my card. I used Stampin Up inks in Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry on the ‘Rays of Light’ stamp on a panel of SOft Sky cardstock. I added a silhouette snowboarder and sentiment from Avery Elle ‘Dude’ and added it to a black cardbase.

Just Add Ink #623 – Just Add Colour Combo

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour combo for you!

I often struggle with colour combos and decided to go with some sponging on a white panel which I then cut with a floral cover die from Paper Roses and added a sentiment from Uniquely Creative.

Love how simple this was to make, yet how pretty it came out!
