1 card for 4 Challenges!

I was up early today as I couldn’t sleep so thought I’d get a bit of crafting in before I have to take Miss K to her netball tournament today.

First is a card for:

I love how blending 3 colours actuall ends up giving you 6! I used Stampin Up inks in Costal Cabana, Megenta Madness and Bumbleebee along with some True Love DSP fussy cut out. I love spring, all the flowers coming out and trees getting their leaves back – not too hot but the sun is out.

Thanks for stopping by for a look and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Tower Block Card

Seems I’m having lots of fun these days making fancy fold type cards and today’s card is no different. I saw a YouTube video from Mixed Up Craft and just knew I had to give it a go; it’s not too hard once you understand the mechanics (I only messed up one panel!)

The front of the card – flat
The back of the card – flat
The top of the card – open

Fusion: Mother’s Day

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!

I was inspired by the sketch which I turned on its side. I used 2 Stampin Up sets ‘Dragonfly Garden’ for the dragonfly and ‘Celebrate Sunflowers’ for my sentiment. My hubby will use this for his mother as she should certainly be celebrated with what she had to manage in 2020!

Come join in the fun and make a card based on the sketch, inspiration photo or fuse them together and play with both! Check out the projects that the other artists at Fusion have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Wednesday, 12th May at 7pm Melbourne Time or Tuesday 11th 12pm US Pacific Time to link up your project.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Waterfall Card

I love making interactive cards and this one was no exception.

I was inspired by the following challenge themes:

I used some super cute DSP from Stampin Up called ‘Playful Pets’ and some watercoloured and fussy cut dogs from Katzelkraft.

The card front showing the waterfall element closed.

I loved making this card and can see myself making a lot more of them. Thanks for stopping by for a look. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #182 – D is for Distress

Well hello there. Today I am a guest designer over at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers as I was crowned Queen for the Z is for Zoom challenge.

This new challenge is all about D is for Distress.

I did a bit of layering using some Stampin Up DSP which I ran through the brick 3D embossing folder, sanded some of the bricks, then applied a stencil with white ink over the top to look like graffiti and then scuffed up the edges to increase the distress look. I used the Whimsy Stamps ‘Meme People’ stamped on white cardstock and fussy cut out and stuck on the top.

I’m really happy with how this card turned out.

Come join in the fun and link up your card by Saturday 1:55am (Melb time) or Friday 16/4 11:55pm (EST).

Thanks for stooping by, enjoy the rest of your day.
