For this challenge, I created a little calendar gift using some Stampin Up Woven Threads DSP, a few chipboard sticker elements I had in my stash and a 2020 calendar. I’m going to make more of these and as it fits nicely into an A5 envelope so I can still post it to some friends along with their Christmas cards.

I got my Simon Says Stamp ‘Woodland Whimsy’ kit in the mail the other day and just had to play with the reindeer die. I had some left over ink smooshed card that I put behind the die and I bent a sentiment around the base of the circle and my card was done.

Despite it being 4 weeks to Christmas, I’m still making cards as I need more in my stash as I send about 90 cards every year and I only have 60 so far!

Hello there, today I am a guest designer over on the Less is More challenge blog as I was the monthly winner for September #405 We Pick, You Pick. This month the #409 Pick a Triangle challenge wants you to pick one of the triangles from either sketch and make a card.

I chose the second sketch and the bottom middle triangle for my card.

I used one of my favourite Christmas tree stamps sets from Altenew called ‘Sketched evergreen’ that I inked up in Catherine Pooler Design inks on a square white card base.

Well, this month we have another challenge over at Sweet Stampin’ Christmas challenge blog with an optional twist to add trees.

For my card I masked off a rectangle and sponged a gradient of SU greens, then added my tree from Altenew in embossed SU Iridescent ice and a sentiment from The Ton.

I created an ink smooshed watercolour background with my Kaleidacolor ink pad ‘Desert Heat’ and printed a digital scary pumpkin face onto it. I decided to keep it simple and not add a sentiment as I wanted the face to be the focal point.
