Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

At the moment I’m enjoying some old fashioned milkshakes and decided to add one to my card. I used a new stampset from Stampin Up called ‘Share a Milshake’ inked up in Strawbetrry Slush and Pink Pirouette inks. The matching dies made it super easy to pull this card together.

I was inspired by the balloons in the challenge image and sponged a series of them down the side panel of my card using a Studio Katia stencil and my ALtenew inks.

This was a hard one for me as I love both colour combinations, but I finally settled on the cold colours (I am a sucker for greens!). I recently bought some gorgeous collage paper from Tim Holtz ‘Entomology’ which I coloured with Altenew inks in bamboo, grass fields, galactic stream, sapphire, deep iris and ultra violet. I played along with the optional aspect of the theme. I stamped the flower from Stampin Us ‘True Beauty’ stamp set in Altenew inks puffy heart and autumn blaze. I then tore the edges and popped up the flowers over my cardbase. The sentiment is from Uniquely Creative.

I love making different shaped cards so used the die shaped like an Easter egg from CAS-ual Fridays ‘Huggable Critters’. I then stamped and coloured the bunny from Picket Fences ‘Peach & Piper’ and added some die cut grass reeds.

My card was inspired by the movie ‘Gone with the Wind’ and I used an awesome stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays ‘Frankly’ (retired) that has a great combination of sentiments. The flowers are from Stampin Up ‘Delicate Dahlias’ inked up in Altenew deep iris, lavender fields, soft lilac, puffy heart, rose quartz, blush and wisteria.

I was inspired by the citrus coloured circles in the photo board so used the colours and the lined up circles on my card.
