Just Add Ink #742 – Just Add Photo Inspiration

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I was inspired by the tropical foliage and the texture of the bamboo. I used some retired Stampin Up products – Forever Fern stamp set with matching dies plus the matching Forever Greenery DSP. I used the Bark embossing folder for my centre green panel and Inks in Granny Apply Green and Evening Evergreen.

Just Add Ink #740 – Colour Challenge

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour theme for you!

These are such a pretty colour combination, so I decided to do some sponging and then lifted colour through an old Stampin Up stencil which gives that faded look. I then diecut the sentiment, added few splatters and mounted on a white cardbase.

Just Add Ink #738 – Just Add a Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I flipped this sketch on it’s side and masked off 3 squares before sponging them with Stampin Up inks in Purple posy, Fresh fresia and Petunia pop. I this stamped the large flower from the Altenew ‘Precious Peony’ stamp set and the sentiment from Stmpin Up ‘Happiest of Birthdays’. I framed with black cardstock on a white cardbase and I was done.

Just Add Ink #735 – Colour Challenge

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour challenge for you!

I decided to do a striped center panel on my card with scaps of the 4 colours. I then die cut a swirly leaf, added some glimmer to it and popped a sentiment created on my PC on top.

I love how classy this looks.

Just Add Ink #734 Blog Hop – Just Add Something New

Hello there, it’s time for our first challenge of 2025 at Just Add Ink and that means we’re kicking off with a Blog Hop and what a great theme we have for you!

For my card I used a new DSP I picked up during the Boxing Day sales from Spotlight – I loved the glittery cupcakes and didn’t have a project in mind when I bought it until I was reminded that I needed a card/project for this challenge.

I have a friend’s birthday coming up, so decided to make a little purse to put her gift in and a matching fancy fold concertina card. On the card I fussy cut some of the cupcakes to add to the sentiment panels. The sentiments are from Stampin Up ‘Happiest of Birthdays’ stamp set.

Just Add Ink #733 – Just Choose Two: Elves – Reindeer – Santa

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

For my card I chose Santa and Reindeer. I sponged a night sky with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks added a die cut Santa with his reindeer flying across the moon. Did a bit of water splatter to look like stars and added a sentiment from Uniquely Creative.

Just Add Ink #731 – Inspiration Photo

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great inspiration photo for you!

I was inspired by the writing and colour on the cushion, the sparkly gold twinkle lights and the white bed linen. My card base is Stampin Up Basic Beige, with a white card panel where I distressed the edges. I then die cut the letters from Cherry Cobler cardstock and some sparkly gold paper.

Did you sing he words as you looked at my card?

Just Add Ink #729 – Just Add Colour

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour theme for you!

Colour challenges are the most difficult ones for me, so I had to think hard for this one. As there were 4 colours, I was able to use a multi-layer floral die that I’ve had since forever. I added some diamentes to the flower stamens and its popped up on some white glitter paper (not sure you can see this in the photo) and added a sentiment from a Uniquely Creative cut-apart.

Just Add Ink #727 – Just Add a Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I had some lovely floral DSP in my stash that I thought would be nice on the background of my card. I added 3 different coloured side panels based on the colours in the DSP. I then fussy cut 1 of the flowers from the left over piece and die cut some leaves from the Satmpin Up ‘Forever Fern’ die set. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin Up ‘Happy & Heartfelt’ stampset on a white circle.
