Just Add Ink #682

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

This sketch was perfect for another Christmas card to add to the 110 needed this year! I embossed the background green panel with a Sizzix ‘Mosiac tile’ folder, staped and heat embossed with iridescent power a snow flake from the Stampin Up “Festive flurry’ stamp set (retired) and popped it up over some silver DSP. The sentiment is from a cut-apart set by Uniquely Creative.

Just Add Ink #680 – Just Add Alcohol

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I needed a card for my hubby’s upcoming birthday so reached for a new to me stamp set from Visible Images ‘Bring on the Beers’ which I coloured with my Stampin Blends and added some puffy paint for the beer foam. The sentiment is form Stampin Up ‘Brewed for You’. I used a cover plate from Altenew ‘Dotted Starburst’ for my background.

Just Add Ink #678 – Just Choose Two – Brights/Foliage/Friend

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

For my card, I chose Brights and Friend. I used some gorgeous DSP from Stampin Up ‘Bright, Merry & Bold’ for my card and sentiments from ‘Biggest Wishes’ and some pink and orange ribbon for that extra bit of something something! This was a super simple card to make but I just love how vibrant and fun it is.

Just Add Ink #676 – Photo Inspiration

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great phot0 inspiration for you!

I decided to focus on the pumpkin in the photo and printed off a digital image I had in 3 different sizes. I coloured them in with my Stampin Blends in Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green then fussy cut them out. I tried a new style of card called the ‘criss cross card’ where you make a type of lattice front on a card with strips of cardstock overlapping. I popped the pumpkins on top along with a sentiment I created on my laptop.

Just Add Ink #674 – Just Add Colour

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour theme for you!

I love this colour combo. I decided to stamp the flower from Concord & 9th ‘Hello Lovely’ stamp set on white and craft cardstock. I coloured the flower on the white card panel with my Stampin Blends (substituting Lovely Lipstick for Berry Burst) I then cut the two panels diagonally and joined them together, so I have a mix and match look. I heat embossed my sentiment from Cas-ual Fridays ‘Whole Shebang’ on some shiny gold cardstock. This I placed across the join of the two floral panels.

Just Add Ink #668 – Just Choose Two

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

For my card, I chose Twine and Timber. I used some timber DSP from Stampin Up ‘In Good Taste’ and I stamped some reeds from the retired Stampin Up ‘Inspired by Nature’ stamp set in Mossy Meadow. I mounted this panel on some burlap, added some twine around the middle, flowers from the Stampin Up ‘Free as a Bird’ stamp set and sentiment from the Stampin Up ‘Bragworthy’ stamp set.

Just Add Ink #666 – Photo Inspiration

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great photo to inspire you!

I was inspired by the snow in the picture and decided to make a card for a teenage boy who loves to snowboard. I used a old digital image from Stampin Up called ‘Extreme Snowboard’ which I printed and then fussy cut out. I sponged some mountains in a variety of blue/green inks, used some white ink to replicate the snow being flung up by the board. I tore the top of the sponged panel and stamped the sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps ‘Game On’ in the corner.

Just Add Ink #664 – Just Add Colour

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour theme for you!

I decided to use a daisy die to create the flowers on my card. I die cut the panel three times and then only stuck down the centres of the die cut panels. This was pretyty fussy and time consuming but I think the end result was worth it!

Just Add Ink #662 – Just Add a Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I decided to use some old DSP from Stampin Up called ‘Symbols of Fortune’. I die cut the largest flowers from the DSP and then popped them up on a white panel over a Garden Green card base.

Just Add Ink #660 – Just Add a Die Cut Inlay

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

This card came together pretty quickly as I went to my stash of scraps and already coloured flowers. The flowers are from a SU DSP called ‘True Love’ which I’d coloured with my STampin Blends. I die cut the work happy with an onld alphabet die and then popped up the card base but left the ‘happy’ lowered. This is such a cool technique but I think next time I’d go with a slightly larger font die as this was super fiddly!
