Just Add Ink #652 – Just Add a Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I recently got this adorable DSP from Stampin Up called ‘Zoo Crew’ that has the cuteset critters that fit perfectly inside one of my circle punches. I punched out the juggling koala, matted him on a punched circle of Pool Party cardstock and then popped him up over a black and white chevron panel. The sentiment is a super old one that I can’t remember it’s name!

Just Add Ink #650 – Just Add Large Letter or Numbers

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I made a very special card for this challenge, it was for my daughter’s 16th birthday. I made an exploding box card with large numbers on the inside and a variety of sentiments. The DSP is from Stampin Up, the stamped sentiments from Colorado Craft COmpany and the ‘slay’ and Happy Birthday dies from Simon Says Stamp.

Just Add Ink #646 – Inspiration Photo

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great inspiration photo for you!

How cute are these cookies? I was inspired by the bunnies and decided to stamp, colour and cut out multiple bunnies from the SSS set ‘Cuddly Critters’. I didn’t want to overwhelm my card so kept the bunnies to the bottom of the card. The sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up set ‘Teeny Tiny Sentiments’.

Just Add Ink #642 – Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I love a good sketch and this one really got my creative juices flowing. I decided to make a masculine card and left the sentiment off as I felt it would compromise the overall design. I use a digital hipster image and coloured him with my Stampin Blends. I fussy cut some sunglasses to give him a bit more sass and then popped him up over some layered squares and striped DSP.

Just Add Ink #636 – Blog Hop – Just Add Your Favourite

Hello there, it’s a new year and that means it’s time for a blog hop at Just Add Ink and do we have a great theme for you – Just Add Your Favourite! What does that mean? It could be your favourite colours, stamps, dies, technique or style – the sky’s your limit!

I used a couple of my favourites – alcohol inks, rainbows and heat embossing!

I created a rainbow background using my AIs, then gold heat embossed my sentiment from Stampin Up ‘Slim Sayings’ on a die cut vellum panel.

Just Add Ink #635 – Inspiration Photo

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I was inspired by the colours in the photo and the hanging ball chains. I decided to make a fancy fold card called a Mirror Fold, following a tutorial from The Artful Inker. I used all Stampin Up products for my card. The card base was Shaded Spruce, the DSP was Lights Aglow and the stamp sets were Whimsical Trees and Watercolour Christmas. I added a belly band to hold the card together when being posted and a bit of gold thread for that extra bit of sparkle.

Just Add Ink #633 – Colour Combo

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour combo for you!

How cute is this combo? I used the Sweet Sorbet as my main colour with my cardbase and stamping of the SU En Francais and light sponging. I then added small slithers of the Basic Grey and Bermuda Bay under the font panel. To create a bit of pop, I stamped and fussy cut out the main flower from the SSS “Beautiful Flowers’ stamp set and kept it black and white.
