Floral Corner Cards

Today I have a couple of cards that their design was inspired by the challenge over at AAA Cards #143 which is all about one corner with an optional floral twist.

For my card, I stamped a Penny Black background stamp ‘Poppy pattern’ inked up with Memento bamboo leaves and love letter and then covered it with a white panel with a circle portion cut out and popped up. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions called ‘Simple Strips Background’.

My second card using the same design is for Paper Craft Crew Challenges #342 which is a tic tac toe challenge where I chose the middle vertical panel and for The Sisterhood of Crafters – Any occasion.

I used a stamp from Uniko called ‘Happy Succulents’ which I water coloured in my favourite denim blue and lime green. I then used my Scan’n’Cut to ‘die cut’ it out and a sentiment from the Taylored expressions ‘Simple Strips Background’ set. I chose the sentiment of gratitude and will be sending this to a very good friend of mine who has kept me buoyed up during this tough year I’ve been having.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

  1. I love how you’ve cut the circle from the corner and stamped the base on the first card – the vivid red blooms are perfect! And the second one is very pretty…loving that stamp!

  2. Your cards are just gorgeous! They are so beautifully clean and simple. I really love all of the whitespace you kept. Thank you for joining the Paper Craft Crew this week. Please join us again!
