Saturday Makes

Today, I’m playing for a second time with some challenges as I was really inspired by their themes.

I embossed a Visible Images stamp called ‘Street Dance Boys’ and then ink smooshed the background with a Kaleidacolor ‘Melon Melody’ ink pad. I love how fun and bright this card is.

I also had some fun playing with my scraps of card stock. I made a large rainbow strip panel and then used it in 2 different wasy on 2 different cards.

First up is a card for Freshly Made Sketches #447.

I used a die cut floral panel from Paper Roses. The sentiment is from The Ton.

Next is a card for Seize the Birthday #197 – Rainbow colours.

I die cut a sentiment and it’s background from the rainbow strips and added some gold flakes behind it for that glow effect.

That’s it for today, got chores and cooking to get to! Thanks for looking and have a great day.

  1. gorgeous cards Tristan. Love the smooshed background. The colours are amazing. And your rainbow stripes made two fantastic cards.

  2. A wonderful trio of vibrant cards. Particularly love the first with those citrus colours and masculine vibe. Thanks for playing at AAA Birthday, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Stay safe and keep crafting!
