Sunday Makes

It’s a warm September day here but the wnd is blowing so I’m avoiding being outside as the dust and pollen are not my friends at the moment by stying inside and crafting.

First up is a card for Cardz4Guyz #253 – Monoshrome.

I opted for a neutrals tone with a touch of mustard. I had a scrap of DSP in my stash and added a bit of twine and a multi-stamped sentiment on the side.

Next is a card for The Card Concept #139 – Summer Harvest.

I was inspired by the blackboard and the sunflowers. I just bought some black Yupo and had a go at trying to draw a flower with my AIs by dropping the ink and blowing on it – it sort of looks like a flower – right? I added a white sentiment and a bit of dust to look like a blackboard.

Next is a card for Seize the Birthday #199 – Die Cuts.

I had a watercoloured panel in my stash that I die cut the birthday sentiment from . I then stamped the happy and addded a couple of raindrops for balance and my card was done.

Lastly is a card for Time Out Challenges #170 – Adventurous.

I have a friend who has caravaned all around Australia and said it was the best adventure she’d been on with her family; so I made her this card.

That’s it for today; thanks for stopping by for a look. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  1. Your masculine card for Cardz 4 Guys is fabulous. Perfect monochrome color scheme, and I like how you used the button and twine. Thank you for joining our challenge!

  2. SO fun – I just love the dimensional elements of your camper van – they really make the card! Thanks so much for getting adventurous with us at TIME OUT! Jill
