Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Marsha is our host with an All About Occasions challenge this week!
I’ve been asked by a work colleague to make a series of Christmas cards for her with a bit of sass/snark to them. I used my favourite tree stamp from Altenew ‘Sketched Evergreen’ inked up in Catherine Pooler Design inks and a sentiment I created on my laptop.

Well, this month we have another challenge over at Sweet Stampin’ Christmas challenge blog with an optional twist to add trees.
For my card I masked off a rectangle and sponged a gradient of SU greens, then added my tree from Altenew in embossed SU Iridescent ice and a sentiment from The Ton.
Come join in our fun and add to your Christmas card stash. Visit the challenge blog to check out the inspiration the other CaSSettes have made. Link up your card by 5am 11th December (Melbourne time) or 6pm 10th December (UK time).
Hello there, today we have a new challenge over at Always Fun Challenges and the theme is pumpkins.
I created an ink smooshed watercolour background with my Kaleidacolor ink pad ‘Desert Heat’ and printed a digital scary pumpkin face onto it. I decided to keep it simple and not add a sentiment as I wanted the face to be the focal point.
Come join in the fun and make a card with watercolours. Check out the projects that the other artists at Always Fun Challenges have created, take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post. We’d love to have you join us. Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and I’m the host this week with a feminine anything goes challenge!
I CASEd a card by my good friend Michelle but changed up the stencil, sentiment and positioning of my little bird. I used the MFT ‘Tweet friends’ stamp set and the digital sentiment from The Ton ‘Birthday Strips’.

Hello there, today I have joined the DT over at Always Fun Challenges and my first challenge theme is to use watercolours on a card.
I created an ink smooshed watercolour background with my Kaleidacolor ink pad ‘Berry blaze’ which I die cut and popped up the edges. I then added a super cute bull I had already watercoloured and cut out in my stash. I added a few clear sequins in the top corner for a bit of balance.

It’s spring in Melbourne and don’t we know it! The other day we had the hottest October day in 50 years (34) and the very next day we had a day when we lit our open fire (14) – gotta love variety right?!
Today its overcast and cloudy so a really good day to stay inside and get my craft on.
I played along with a stamp set from the October Simon Says Stamp kit ‘Thankful Flowers’ which I heat embossed and then roughly water coloured. I cut it on an angle and mounted it on black and white DSP and then a copper card stock onto a black card base.
For this card I used 2 stamp sets, 1 from Unity Stamps ‘Trust the timing’ and the other from Simon Says Stamp ‘If the hat fits’. I kept most of the card black and white except for the hat that I coloured with my Stampin Blends in a few shades of pink.
Must be a day for 3s as this next card is for another 3 challenges:
I keep all the Christmas cards that I receive, so decided to go with the ‘U for upcycle’ option and I reused a cute little tag that had food and drink images on it. I decided to use the tag on a card front with some glittery paper and some gingerbread cookie card stock, twine and a sentiment.
Well, that’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day.
Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Helen is our host with an all about occasions challenge this week!
I created an OLC with some Altenew stamps and Catherine Pooler Designs inks. I usually find the multi-layer Altenew stamps difficult to line up but with my MISTI it was super easy.
