Beyond my card-making adventures, I lead a pretty busy life in the learning and development field, where I work full time as a Learning Lead. Just Add Ink #652 – Just Add a Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I recently got this adorable DSP from Stampin Up called ‘Zoo Crew’ that has the cuteset critters that fit perfectly inside one of my circle punches. I punched out the juggling koala, matted him on a punched circle of Pool Party cardstock and then popped him up over a black and white chevron panel. The sentiment is a super old one that I can’t remember it’s name!

Sketch Saturday #725 – Opt use a floral image

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

Rather than add DSP for those 2 vertical panels, I decided to score a series of lines. I then stamped and die cut some flowers from the Stampin Up set ‘Two Tone Flora’ using Altenew inks in olive, purple wine and puffy heart. I added some pearls to the centre of the main flower and a sentiment created on my laptop and my card was done.

AAA Birthday #49 – Balloons

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

For my card, I used a super cute stamp set from Close to my Heart called ‘Balloon Animals’ inked up in a variety of Altenew inks (I did a littlw bit of sponging on the edges for some depth). I added some twine for the strings and a sentiment created on my PC.

AAA Cards #239 – Choose a Side

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

This was a hard one for me as I love both colour combinations, but I finally settled on the cold colours (I am a sucker for greens!). I recently bought some gorgeous collage paper from Tim Holtz ‘Entomology’ which I coloured with Altenew inks in bamboo, grass fields, galactic stream, sapphire, deep iris and ultra violet. The sentiment is from Uniquely Creative.

Just Add Ink #650 – Just Add Large Letter or Numbers

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I made a very special card for this challenge, it was for my daughter’s 16th birthday. I made an exploding box card with large numbers on the inside and a variety of sentiments. The DSP is from Stampin Up, the stamped sentiments from Colorado Craft COmpany and the ‘slay’ and Happy Birthday dies from Simon Says Stamp.

Sketch Saturday #724 – opt twist make it monochromatic

I was inspired by this sketch to use some flowers from the Stampin Up True Love DSP which I coloured with my Petal Pink Stampin Blends. I fussy cut the flowers and then added them to a white banner which I popped up for some dimension. The sentiment is from Uniquely Creative.

I love making different shaped cards so used the die shaped like an Easter egg from CAS-ual Fridays ‘Huggable Critters’. I then stamped and coloured the bunny from Picket Fences ‘Peach & Piper’ and added some die cut grass reeds.
