Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Marsha is our host with challenge all about occasions this week!
I decided to have a go at a card that is called ‘scrappy strips’ card. I followed a tutorial from Bruno Bertucci on YouTube. It’s super easy and a great way to use up your scrap bits of paper. I used bits of DSP from Stampin Up Tropical Oasis .
Doesn’t it look fab?

Hello there, it’s time for another Fusion Challenge and do we have a great sketch and inspirational photo for you!
I was inspired by the sketch and wanted to create a card with a floral image popping out from under a sparkly panel. I used a new to me stamp set from Altenew called ‘Paint-a-Flower: Rose’. I stamped the large floral image and coloured it with my Stampin Blends and then added a piece of super sparkly pink glitter paper along the edge.

Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and Kath is our host with an all about occasions challenge this week!
I made a card that could be used for a variety of occasions – New year celebrations, Birthday, Thinking of you……. I used a stamp set from Uniquely Creative called ‘Good Times’ where I stamped the Chinese lanterns a number of times, fussy cut them out and then coloured them with my Stamping Blends. I sponged my background to look like there was a bit of glow coming from each lantern, attached them to some twine and added the white heat embossed sentiment and my card was done.

Well, this month we have another challenge over at Christmas Craft Creations challenge blog with an optional twist to use a die cut.
I saw a video by Jennifer McGuire creating a tunnel card and just knew I had to give it a go. I used a Simon Says Stamp set ‘Christmas Squad’ which I coloured with my Stampin Blends and then die cut them out.
This is the inside, you can see I had 3 layers that I’ve added die cut images to which provides depth.
A bit more of the middle and the decorated front.
This was quite a tricky card to make and I did ruin about 4 bases trying to get it right, so I suggest you try with scrap paper before you use you’re best cardstock. It does fold flat so you can post it.
Come join in our fun and add to your Christmas card stash. Visit the challenge blog to check out the inspiration the other CCCettes have made. Link up your card by 3am 10th June (Melbourne time) or 6pm 9th June (UK time).
Hello there, it’s time for another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and I’m our host with a feminine anything goes challenge this week!
I used a new set to me from Uniquely Creative called ‘Lucky You’ where I stamped and coloured the 2 little Asian dolls with my Stampin Blends. I kept the colours soft in light pink and mint. I inked smooshed by background in pink, added some die cut circles for effect and some sequins for balance in the top corner. The sentiment is white heat embossed and popped up.

Well hello and welcome to today’s post. It’s time for another challenge over at Get Creative Challenges where its Anything Goes with an optional twist to to make it sparkly.
For my card I chose the cute, funny birthday cat stamp; I just loved the idea of the cat floating away with the balloons.
I printed the image on some Stampin Up Whisper White cardstock and then used my Scan’n’Cut to cut it out. I then coloured the cat and balloons with my Stampin Blends and used a cloud embossing folder for the background. I used my clear sparkly Wink of Stella on the clouds and balloons for that sparkly effect (you can probably see it better in the second picture).
Check out the Get Creative Challenge blog for details on the sponsor prizes and links to the other fabulous projects from the DT and come join in our fun and share your anything goes project by 2pm Monday 1st June (Melbourne time) or 11pm Sunday 31st May (US Eastern Standard time)
I was inspired by a TV series I loved growing up called ‘Skippy‘ and I used a digital image which I coloured with my Stampin Blends. I added a bit of a stencil for the background to ground my roos and my card was done!
I loved the idea of creating splats so, used my Stampin Up reinkers, some water and a paintbrush to create my splat across the centre of my card. I then die cut my sentiment 4 times in white, Marina Mist and Pool Party cardstock to create some shadows and height.
For my card I went with stencils and patterned paper. I used a stencil from Studio Katia ‘Birthday Balloons duo’, some text paper from Stampin Up, Distress inks and a sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays ‘Shenanigans’.
I would never have thought to use a patterned paper behind my stenciling and am so glad I tried it as I love this look!
I went with the drink theme and used a stamp set by PTI called ‘Uncorked’. I heat embossed the sentiment 3 times across my black border which is overlaid on a very subtle embossed panel at the bottom. I stamped 2 bottles, cut them out and laid them over the sentiment and my card was done.
Hopefully this card and the wine that goes with it will fix the fact that I was late with birthday wishes!
I decided to use a unicorn silhouette from Visible Images ‘Believe in unicorns’ and a sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays ‘Be a unicorn’ for my card. I did a bit of ink smooshing for the background before stamping the unicorn and sentiment.
Well that’s it for today. I’m off to do some cooking now. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend.
