Sketch Saturday #745 twist feature green

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I decided to soften the look of the rectangle and squares on this sketch by using flowers instead of the squares and a sentiment in place of the rectangle. The flowers are from the Stampin Up True Love DSP coloured with my Stampin Blends in Pale Papaya and Flirty Flamingo. The sentiment is from the Stampin Up Biggest Wish stamp set. As you can see I didn’t feature green which is unusual considering green is my favourite colour!

AAA Cards #259 – ATG CAS opt Birthday

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

I love an ATG challenge as I can let my creativity go where it takes me. I used a cool stamp set from Altenew ‘Halftone circles’ which works really well if you want to layer them with different colours, which is what I did here using Stampin Up inks in Real Red, Pimpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide. The sentiment I created on my computer.

Just Add Ink #689 – Just Add Colour

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great colour combination for you!

I love these colours together. I decided to make an alcohol ink panel from which I die cut a few different butterflies. I added them to a circle sentiment along with some bling and my card was done. What do you think? Do you like these colours together too?

Sketch Saturday #744

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I decided to use some coordinating products from Stampin Up – Hand Penned DSP and matching dies. The sentiment is from SU Charming Sentiments stamp set. I added some bling to the centres of the die cut flowers.

AAA Cards #258 – Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great sketch for you!

This sketch inspired me to make a Christmas card. I sponged a background panel with Stampin Up inks (Pacific Point, Blueberry Bushel, Starry Sky and Night of Navy), stamped the trees from the Stampin Up ‘Wonderland’ stamp set and then added a die cut Santa and his sleigh over the sponged panel. I opted for no sentiment as I think the lements speak for themselves.

AAA Birthday #58 – Hearts

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

I have a friend who’s birthday is on Valentines Day so this challenge theme was perfect inspiration for this card. I used some Stampin Up DSP scraps in strips on some acetate and I then die cut the panel with a heart shaped die. I die cut a couple of flowers from the same DSP and added them on top of the heart. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment and then popped the heart up with dimensional tape.

Just Add Ink #687 – Just Add a Sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

This is such a simple sketch but it leaves it very open for how you can interpret it. Me I say the line in the middle as an opportunity at define the card base with some stamped leaves and flowers from the Stampin Up Two-Tone Flora stamp set inked up in Polished Pink, Bubble Bath and Parakeet Party. You might be able to see I added a few tiny pearls to the centre of my flowers. I then stamped my sentiment from Biggest Wishes (using the rock’n’roll technique) on some die cut rectangles using the Deckled dies.

Sketch Saturday #743

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I love this sketch, it’s so versatile as the circle could be anything and for my card I chose to fussy cut a black and white flower from some old DSP which I popped up over twine and some yellow and white DSP with a sentiment from Uniquely Creative. Not sure if you can see it in the photo, but I added some silver Nuvo drops to the centre of the flower.

AAA Cards #257 – ATG CAS Opt twist – love is in the air

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you with an optional twist if you feel like it!

I decided to play with the optional twist for my card. I die cut a series of hearts in different shapes. Added some twine and hung them on a white card base and my card was done. I decided to not have a sentiment as I think the hearts speak to the card meaning.

Just Add Ink #685 Blog Hop – Just Add Flowers

Hello there, it’s time for our first challenge of 2024 at Just Add Ink and that means we’re kicking off with a Blog Hop and what a great theme we have for you!

For my card I used a new stamp from Unity Stamp Co called ‘Stunner’ which I coloured with my Stampin Blends and then added her amongst some fussy cut flowers from the Stampin Up DSP ‘True Love’. I kept the flowers predominantly black and white so they didn’t overpower my lady.
