Just Add Ink #670 – Just Add Wildlife

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

Love how broad this theme can be. I used the flat elephant from the Katzelkraft ‘Les Jungles’ stamp set that I loosely watercoloured. I blended my background using Stampin Up inks in per pizzazz,balmy blue and boho blue. The sentiment is from the retired Stampin Up ‘Coffee Cafe’ stamp set.

Sketch Saturday #734 – Opt use red, yellow and blue

I swapped the sketch horizontally and used some elements from the Uniquely Ceative digital Father’s Day Super Dad Cut-a-Part Sheet. The colours are red, blue and grey close to the optional primary colours but swapping grey for yellow.

CAS Colours & Sketches #520

Hello there. It’s time for another awesome colour challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches!

With colours like these, me default has been something floral but I had a look through my stamp sets and landed on one from MFT clled ‘Color Drops’ that I thought would be perfect. I ended up stamping each colour 4 times around a circle and then popped up a sentiment from Uniquely Creative.

AAA Birthday #53 – Animals

Hello there, it’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday and do we have a great theme for you!

Anyone who knows me knows that I love adding animals to my cards, so this is a perfect theme for me. I used one of the Tim Holtz dogs from the ‘Crazy Dogs’ stamp set along with a party hat from ‘Crazy Things’. I loosely water coloured them, then fussy cut them out. I took some Stampin Up DSP from ‘Playful Pets’ that I folded back so I could pop my pup peeking from behind. The background is created with a series of die cut paw prints. I love how this card came out.

Just Add Ink #668 – Just Choose Two

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

For my card, I chose Twine and Timber. I used some timber DSP from Stampin Up ‘In Good Taste’ and I stamped some reeds from the retired Stampin Up ‘Inspired by Nature’ stamp set in Mossy Meadow. I mounted this panel on some burlap, added some twine around the middle, flowers from the Stampin Up ‘Free as a Bird’ stamp set and sentiment from the Stampin Up ‘Bragworthy’ stamp set.

CAS Colours & Sketches #519

Hello there. It’s time for another awesome double challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches – three great colours and a sketch!

I opted for a flower for my shape in the sketch, using a multi-step stamp set from Altenew called ‘Orange Foliage’ which I inked up in Altenew inks in Andromedea, Wisteria and Moss. I die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die.

Sketch Saturday #733 opt use sequins

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

For the circles in the sketch I used the daisies from the Satmpin Up ‘Cheerful Daisies’ stamp set. I coloured them and the cut them out aboud popped up on some wood grained DSP, chocolate card stock onto a white card base.

AAA Cards #247 – Sketch for a teen card

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great theme for you!

I love making cards for teens and I’ve got some great stamps perfect for this challenge. I used a stamp from Visible Images ‘Hip Hop Girls’ which I heat embossed in black and then sponged a highlight circle in Altenew Parrot and Arctic inks.

Just Add Ink #666 – Photo Inspiration

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great photo to inspire you!

I was inspired by the snow in the picture and decided to make a card for a teenage boy who loves to snowboard. I used a old digital image from Stampin Up called ‘Extreme Snowboard’ which I printed and then fussy cut out. I sponged some mountains in a variety of blue/green inks, used some white ink to replicate the snow being flung up by the board. I tore the top of the sponged panel and stamped the sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps ‘Game On’ in the corner.
