Just Add Ink #705 – Just Add a Fancy Edge

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I used my floral stamp to make my fancy edge. I stamped the SSS ‘Beautiful Flower’ near the edge of my card base, coloured it with my Stampin Blends in Pretty Pink and Old Olive, then fussy cut the edge. I’m really happy with how this came out. I added some grey cardstock to the inside of the card the help highlight the flower image.

I have a niece who’s got a birthday coming up soon and she loves all things unicorn, so this was a perfect challenge theme to make her a card.

I used Pinkfresh Studi set ‘Magical Unicorn’ with it’s matching dies to make the face of my unicorn and a sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays ‘Be a Unicorn’.

AAA Cards #266 – sketch

Hello there, it’s time for another challenge over at AAA Cards and do we have a great sketch for you!

I thought this sketch was perfect for a Christmas card. I stamped three of the baubes from the old Stampin Up “Ornament Keepsake’ stamp set and coloured them with my Stampin Blends in Cucumber Crush, Tahitian Tide and Melon Mambo. I die cut them and popped one up with dimensionals. I added a sentiment from Uniquely Creative.

Just Add Ink #703 – Just Choose Two – Balloons/Bright Colours/Birthday

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great theme for you!

I chose bright colours and birthday for my card. I was inspired by a card that Maheswari Rajaguru made recently and decided to use some retired DSP (Fine Art Floral) from Stampin’ Up for the sunburst shape. I added cardstock in the colours from the DSP in between the DSP rays and then stamped and die cut some flowers from the Stampin’ Up ‘Two Tone Floral’ stamp set. I used inks from Stampin’ Up in Cajun Craze, Mango Melody, Calypso Coral and Pretty Peacock.

Just Add Ink #701 – Inspirational Photo

Hello there, it’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and do we have a great photo to inspire you!

My card was inspired by the colours in the photo. I used my Distress Inks – Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry and smoosed them onto some watercolour cardstock. I then die cut a few daisies to add interest on the front, a sentiment from Stampin’ Up ‘Special Moments’ and added the ink panel onto some yellow and orange cardstock.

I love ink smooshing as everytime you do it, it leaves you with a totally different look.

Sketch Saturday #750 opt use buttons

Hello there, it’s time for another Sketch Saturday Challenge and do we have a great sketch for you!

I thought the hexagon shapes looked like snowflakes, so decided to make a Christmas card using an old stamp set from Unity Stamp Co ‘Snowflake Kisses’ inked up in Altenew crisp dye inks in Lagoon, Volcano Lake and Mountain Mist. I masked off the entre panel for my sentiment , mounted the panel on some Stampin Up cardstock in Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana added some gems to the centre of my snowflakes and I was done.
